Maggie is not a slut (Part 2)

Maggie's a slut, and Execrable's an oaf.

So what else is new?

All right, time to have some fun...

>> There is *no way* Rickman raped Maggie.
>> She would have said so in "This Slide of
>> Paradise," rather than admitting to the
>> affair as "the worst mistake I ever made."

> You don't know for certain that Rickman
> * didn't * rape Maggie. She might have
> blocked the trauma, as some rape victims do.

So... she blocked the trauma of a rape, by convincing herself that she did him voluntarily?? That makes about as much sense as "The_Cynic = Danbagel = Daniel_2"... which even YOU later recanted, somehow forgetting to apologize to Cynic for the accusation.

Also nice to see you still * italicing * with spaces beside the asterisks, just like in those Daniel_2 mails.

> And let's say that Rickman knew that Maggie
> was aware of something illegal that he had done,
> so he blackmailed her into having sex with him
> as a way of keeping him quiet...That is a form
> of rape, and one that Maggie would not be proud
> of for maintaining her silence.

> I don't believe she was really Rickman's lover
> in spite of her statement to her friends in the
> 3rd season finale. Maggie was lying to cover her
> fear.

Oh, right! She was afraid of what Rickman would do if she revealed your B.S. "blackmail" backstory and said she had no choice... so instead she said to his face that he was the WORST MISTAKE SHE EVER MADE!!

Your higher reasoning skills are second only to your unparalleled attentiveness, you nitwit.

>> We all know that under your logic,
>> something not explicitly denied *must*
>> be considered true! (ref. Tf's age)

> No, that's YOUR opinion and a few other
> jerks who have taken your side in TF's
> series of lies. It certainly isn't the
> first time you have sided together to
> trash me.

Why don't you provide us with a few concrete examples of "Tf's lies" while you're at it? Go on... be unsparing.

> Unlike you, I don't lie and claim perfection.

Okay then, you just lie.

> The only people who have faulted me
> are the same small, angry group who are
> here only to bring me down a few pegs by
> making up whatever they want and twisting
> the facts to suit their own needs.

That's right, our ONLY purpose on this board is to trash you. We've NEVER contributed episode commentary, theories, humour, fanfiction, news or website updates.

Ah yes, and as for the famous "small, angry group"... they were around twenty or thirty last I checked: http://www.scifi.com/bboard/browse.cgi/1/5/545/8083/9

> I'm not looking to furthur instigate
> what you and Blinker started in these
> two posts.

LOL! "Furthur" again! Are you extraordinarily stubborn, or just an idiot?

> I've only told you about 5 times now
> that I wasn't reviewing "Obsession", only
> making a few comments on why I hated it --
> ALL of which were accurate. It was my
> opinions you vehemently flamed.

Actually, he flamed your INACCURATE STATEMENTS - such as your claim that Derek was able to 'control Wade's mind, even after she had slid to another universe.'

> First it is NOT one of my favorite
> episodes, but rather the only post-
> Exodus 3rd season story.

You did NOT correct that line until SpaceTime pointed it out.

> You should learn how to read!

You should learn to stop talking to yourself.

> Unless you left a word out when you cut
> & pasted, it was a typo in my message...

Explain how it is possible to "leave a word out" while cutting and pasting? Do the gnomes that carry the words between documents drop one and forget to go back for it?

Of course, you've only been able to cut and paste since mid-April, when Netscape 4.0 was installed on your library terminals. This scintillating detail was made public in the Daniel_2 letters... care to explain how Danbagel knew about it?

>>> There is no reason to believe that she
>>> really wanted to sleep with Carlos. On
>>> this we will have to agree to disagree.

>> No we won't since she was so blatantly
>> into Carlos it was sickening. I don't know
>> what to make of your first sentence, mainly
>> because it's gibberish, but from Maggie's
>> "I don't know, I think Carlos is really
>> attractive" to her sensual water drinking in
>> the lagoon to her chastisement of not getting
>> any on a parallel world to her goofy flirtation
>> with Carlos that's broken up by Wade, it's
>> pretty obvious that Maggie's thoughts on not
>> "on the mission." She wanted to do him! All
>> evidence points to it! Are you really that...
>> well, yes, you are.

> Still a matter of opinion, and not fact. So
> you are slamming me based on Maggie's innocent
> flirting?

How many more *facts* do you need?? There's such a thing as 'overwhelming evidence leading to an educated guess,' you know. It sure beats ignoring *all* the facts to grasp at straws.

Even if Maggie HAD done Carlos, you'd probably claim she was "blackmailed." Then when she bragged about how great he was on the next world, you'd say she was "lying out of fear." Of course, you'd point out that she *did* "later want to catch him, since he *is* a murderer."

>> For all her initial protestations, Maggie
>> certainly did enjoy vamping it up in "Way Out
>> West" (showing off her cleavage, leaning
>> perilously close to scruffy bar patrons, etc.)
>> Now try to imagine, say, Wade behaving that way.

> Wade was vamping it up in "Stoker", vampire
> spell or not. ;-)

Maggie was behaving that way in "Breeder," mind-controlling parasite or not. 7;-)

> In Way Out West, Maggie was working as a
> saloon girl because it was the only job she get
> on that world. She even expressed her disappointment
> that she had to do that kind of work.

For someone who spends half his waking hours in a public library, one would think you know what "initial protestations" means. And yes, I know she was forced to take that job for Colin's sake... all I said was, she sure seemed to be *enjoying* it disproportionately to those complaints about her dignity.

> Also they didn't have Remmy's double's ATM
> card to use in that episode...

Uh... perhaps because there were no ATMs?? The card doesn't really matter at that point.

>> I ought to briefly touch on Miss Beckett's
>> preferred mode of dress... from the tank tops
>> featured in the third season, to "Data World"'s
>> 'best dress she almost wore.'

> As a guy, I wish she would go back to dressing
> like that! I'm surprised you don't feel the same way.

Not what I look for in a woman. I go for intelligence, humour, class, that sort of thing. Frankly, Maggie's slutty appearance turns me off.

> Maggie's wardrobe was more stylish back then,
> but she was dressing to impress -- not to land
> guys in bed. In either case, if a woman's got
> it, she should flaunt it.

Modesty CAN be considered a virtue, you know.

> By the way, Wade often wore tight shirts,
> miniskirts, and shorts throughout the 3rd
> season as well and there was nothing wrong
> with that either.

Tight... but not exceptionally revealing, except in climates that warranted it (i.e. Desert Storm.)

>> Following the pattern set with Steven,
>> Maggie spends about five minutes mourning
>> the loss of Quinn... and is blatantly
>> coming on to Mallory by the end of "New
>> Gods For Old." 'Quinn, yeah, I'll sure
>> miss him... and hey, this new guy's
>> kinda cute too!'

> You muse be kidding here, because Maggie
> NEVER said "and hey, this guy's kinda cute
> too!". It looks like your recollection
> needs to be refreshed, Blinker!

I'm not sure which response would be funniest here:

a) Looks like YOURS does, Exec! I said "this NEW guy," not "THIS guy!"

b) Gee, maybe I WAS kidding. Think on it... it'll come to you.

c) You misused the word "muse." Most people of your calibre have at least mastered the four-letter words.

> So what if she ignores a dork like Mallory,
> a man she wasn't interested in from the start?
> It is the original Quinn that she * loved *,
> and not him.

I believe I addressed this. Within FIVE EPISODES she had written off Quinn and snuggled up to Mallory. You lose again.

> As for her fling with Paxton, the woman
> hasn't had sex in 2 years so she needed
> a release. Looks like Blinker does too! ;-)

I could point out that you haven't gotten off since the Carter administration, but I think I'll take the high road and tell you have less taste than someone who just swallowed 40 lb. of Tabasco sauce.

I'm reminded of your infamous quip to QEDTS, when he objected to your condom jokes on the NetForum: "Sounds like you've never had a chance to use them, QEDTS!"

BTW, Proof Boy, where is your 'solid evidence' that Maggie *hasn't* gotten any in 2 years?

> Almost kissing in "The Exodus"? You must
> have viewed a parallel Earth version of
> that episode, because he stuffed the woman
> in a trunk soon after they first met!

TWO different people called you on that one, and you STILL couldn't admit I was right.

>> I won't even get *into* her blatant
>> disregard for human life ('If I shoot
>> the wrong priest? I'll do extra Hail
>> Marys.')

> Sounds like the third season Maggie, but
> what does that have to do with your
> accusation of being a "slut"? Nothing!

How perceptive of you. That's why I said I wasn't getting into it, doofus.

> Maggie seemed very concerned for the
> life of Christina's son in "Mother and
> Child", so you don't know what you're
> typing about!

This was a topic of board discussion when M&C first aired, but the general consensus was that even the hardest of "bitches" loses her cold steel exterior when confronted with a baby.

BTW, if she was so concerned with the baby's life, why did she not put down her gun before picking him up?

>> Review's a riot as usual, BTW... in
>> the sense that it's best taken care
>> of with some nightsticks and a good
>> helping of tear gas.

> Glad you enjoyed it! ;-)

Uhh... yeah. We'll submit that one to the Comeback Hall of Fame.
