Temp. Flux's "irrational behavior"

In this post from last year, a practical joke was played on Temp. Flux by The Executive. Exec told another user that Sliders was for sale on home video even though he immediately e-mailed her to let her know that he was kidding. It looks like Exec let the joke go for a few days, and just before April 1 he spilled the beans. Exec says that he pulled the gag to prove that Temp. Flux will start a fight when it doesn't even involve him!!! Several people tooks sides and this was the last major, but very brief Netforum war. Anyway this is what SpaceTime had to say to Mr. Flux......

I rarely post, and when I do it tends to center around TemporalFlux's irrational behavior. He is, at best, someone who feels the need to control this Netforum by trying to manipulate evidence and people so that they agree with him. I cannot find someone on this board who posts more than him, and I don't care if he has any alter egos. It's irrelevant. What *is* relevant is that once you blow through the facade, you become his enemy. Allow me to explain.

You see, I used to be what you could call Tf's ally. He sent me email that was uplifting and positive. Then, when I argued about the
CyberCon in January, I stopped listening to his b.s. and *boom*,
instant archrival.

Now, whenever I post, which is seldom, I get harassed and called a
trouble-maker, when in fact I set Tf straight for all of the
numerous errors he made in a post about David Peckinpah. Now, Dave
isn't one of my idols, but since TemporalFlux posts so often, a lot
of people are going to see his errors and take them as fact. When I
confronted him, I was called a bully and that I wasn't taking his
opinions into account.

Now, it comes time when Tf engages the Executive in another battle,
slinging mud and calling each other names. Well, I'm sick of it. It's old. And quite frankly, TemporalFlux, I don't buy your line anymore. You have the nerve to attack Executive time and again about the lies that he propogates. How do you know for certain that there is NOT a Sliders tape in the Sun Coast video by Executive's house? Have you been there? It could be a family run chain and they may have bootlegged a copy off TV and put it out for rental/sale. Even Exec doesn't know. He said himself that he doesn't remember for sure. Somehow, I doubt that he's trying to con someone into buying a non-existent copy of the pilot.

But the point is, you don't care! You don't care what anybody has to
say if they disagree with you. This post will most likely be dismissed or attacked, and I don't care.

You give as much "proof" as anybody else, and it's usually wrong. We're not all babies here that need your sitting. We're all rational, thinking people, and we can make up our own minds on what we think of people. Personally, I think you're pathetic. At least Executive has the integrity to not attack you.

This personally is my favorite quote from you in a long time:

I don't know about you, but I don't commit your life to memory so I
can burp it up in a post. Oh, and about your sources... that's true,
except you misquote them and generally get them wrong with every post that's Expert-related. And when I corrected you, I got attacked! You are so full of it.

This proves *your* "gross stupidity." Executive never attested to the quality of the tape, he just said he may have seen it at a video store. "You have no excuses here, you have been caught."

Let's face it man, you're a loser. And that's my personal opinion.
Get a life, leave Executive alone. People, I'm sorry this post is so
long, but this stuff needed to be said.

I'm one of those evil people who tries to keep others from being ripped off. Someone says there is a tape for sale in a store everyone knows the tape doesn't exist in the U.S. (even though I found out from this that "The Pilot" was released in Australia in a format not compatible with U.S. VCRs)...and he's offering to "buy" a copy and send it to her if she'll provide payment in advance. Ha. Ha. Funny. joke. In fact, the non partisan responses to this little revelation of the joke all cite that it was not funny and shouldn't have been done...even the person he e-mailed (the only person) said it wasn't funny (this can all be found in the responses...don't take my word for any of it). And what I love is the last thing you forgot to offer...many people came to the jokester's defense on this, citing how he "could" have seen it. Were they in on the joke? Were they apologized to for being duped into defending something false? Nope. And they didn't talk to the jokester again.

Of course, there's also the dates on the "joke"...if I'm not mistaken, it began on March 25...and ended on March 27. April? Fools.

I mean, what are you trying to accomplish here? Did you really "switch" sides? It doesn't seem like it...

And you know, I just realized something...what is it with me and breakfast food? Syrup...bagels...what's next, french toast?

but it's getting really annoying to wade through all these errant posts about TF and Exec and whoever else. It has nothing to do with Sliders and they are very long and winded and can easily be reduced to either one thread or a list of addresses, not the ENTIRE message. If anyone was interested in this, as I am sure only a few and the principals are, then they read that thread or visit those addresses. That's all I have to say. Bye.

Thanks for posting that! It's always funny to see that little period in my life when I ruled the Netforum with an iron fist. But what does this have to do with now? That post is almost a year old, if not older.
