Sci-Fi has become obsessed with holidays it seems. Wonder how many other times they'll pull this trick?

Valentine's Day - "DragonSlide" - considering the Wade/Remmy arc, the Mallory clan arc and the general hokey nature of the episode; this would probably be Sci-Fi's choice. "Obsession" would work pretty well too, though (and would be my choice).

St. Patrick's Day - "In Dino Veritas" or "DinoSlide" - Aye...beware the not so wee green beasties.

April Fool's Day - "Post Traumatic Slide Syndrome" - Boy does that one speak for itself. ;-)

4th of July - "Prince of Wails" - What better way to celebrate the 4th than to relive the American Revolution all over again?

Labor Day - "The Fire Within" - Well, part of the episode did deal with union problems.

I probably left out a few, but that's a start. ;-)

BT was just wondering ...

*****

Does this mean we'll miss out on "Dinoslide" when the episodes resume in January? Hell, they might as well skip by "This Slide of Paradise" and "Genesis" while they're at it.

Also, since they were planning on showing "Season's Greeding" right around Christmas (a little more than a month after showing it in the regular running order) then you'd think they would have chosen that episode to skip instead of ... oh, let's say ... "DOUBLE CROSS"!!!!

Oh wait. Maybe they are going to skip it in November after all.

15-NOV-02 1:00 PM SLIDERS SEASON'S GREDDING
23-DEC-02 1:00 PM SLIDERS SEASON'S GREEDING

Don't seem to remember a Sliders episode named "Season's Gredding" though. :)

You forgot Arbor Day

It's Colleen Mallory's favorite day!

Picking up where TF left off:

Arbor Day- "El Sid". You just can't get enough of those green tree placards.

Thanksgiving- "O Brother Where Art Thou?" OK, so those are Amish and not Pilgrims, but this is the Sci-Fi programing staff we're talking about here.

Veterans Day- "Strangers and Comrades" In honor of all the brave soldiers who have fought on moons trapped in innerspace.

Valentine's Day- I disagree with TF and have to pick "The Breeder." Again, this is the Sci-Fi porgramming staff we're talking about here.

Boxer Day- "The Guardian" You see, cause there's boxing...and again, this is the Sci-Fi programming staff, etc.

Mother's Day- "Mother and Child" Even though the message is mixed at best.

Father's Day- "Slide Like an Egyptian" Cause we had to slip it in somewhere!

Good choices, all...

No, BT, I wasn't talking to *you*!

Let's continue!

Easter: "The Exodus, Part I." You know, for Cadbury World. Naturally, this being the Sci-Fi Channel, Part II is omitted... which, come to think of it, is an improvement.

Earth Day: "World Killer," an object lesson in the perils of overpopulation.

Martin Luther King Day: "California Reich."

Secretaries' Day: "Post-Traumatic Slide Syndrome," in which a secretary performs the vital plot functions of phoning Gate Haven Hospital and saying "Hey, you can't go in there!"

Presidents' Day: "A Current Affair."

Groundhog Day: "Roads Taken." I think we've reached the beginning!

Columbus Day: Um... "Blood and Splendor"?

New Year's Day: "The Guardian" -- or maybe that goes with October 1. Oh, wait... never mind. :-D
