=== SHOW AND TELL: THE YOUNG AND THE RELENTLESS ===

SYNTHIA: All right. I brought in this tape of the "America's Dumbest Criminals" episode featuring Wade's scheming double. Let's see... she fakes Quinn's death by pushing him into a swimming pool when EVERYONE WHO KNEW HIM KNEW HE WAS SEVERELY HYDROPHOBIC, and Fred White's by drug overdose when EVERYONE WHO KNEW HIM KNEW HE NEVER SO MUCH AS TOUCHED AN ASPIRIN. What was this girl ON?!

BLINKER: Well, it sure as hell wasn't Aspirin. Anyhow, I brought in my favorite wardrobe item from the entire series: this AWESOME checkered suit.

SYNTHIA: Eeeuuugh. Is that the same... THING that you were wearing in that one Far Slide and your profile on My's old page?

BLINKER: Yeah! It's the bomb!

SYNTHIA: If you mean that it causes blindness, sterility, radiation poisoning and death, then I wholeheartedly concur.

BLINKER: Good. [satisfied, turns to audience] So, what artifacts do *y'all* have on call?

...a great video from YATR world called "The 1980 Presidential Debates: Too Hot for TV!"

See how Howard Stern hounded Jimmy Carter from office (while staving off the unlikely challenger, Ronald Reagan) in this rarely seen 90-minute video!

See Stern make no less than 69 comments about Ronald Reagan's virility! When asked about whether the number of comments he made was for each one of Reagan's 69 years of age at the time, Stern replied, "Uh, yeah, sure."

See future president Howard make lewd suggestions about Jimmy Carter's past dalliances with farm animals! Hear Jimmy reply unconvincingly that he "did not have sexual relations with that bovine".

If you order now, you can also receive the video showing the Senate floor debates on the issue of amending the constitution to allow 26-year-old Stern to seek the office of president. See Ted Kennedy as he makes the case for the amendment amazingly without mentioning that he is doing so out of sour grapes for losing the Democratic nomination to Carter! Hear Bob Dole make the case for the 27th Amendment without making reference to the fact he was hoping Stern would soak up Carter votes, thus tipping the election to Reagan!

If you are a presidential buff or just would like to own a piece of history, order now! Baba Booey!

Colin and Quinn Mallory ARE Party Posse

From: FogBoy

But aside from any boy band aspirations held by the brothers O'Connell....

I've brought the first Colin double! Or, well, his corpse.

Yes kids, you may have thought that the only slider-born-of-waterfowl seemed to lack dimensional doubles during his season 4 run, but don't despair - he sure made up for it in the earlier seasons.

Consider this, the first Colin, who was evidently named Quinn at birth. The Wade double, unable to tell one Mallory from another, just slips Quinn into his place.

Colin also manages to have doubles in As Time Goes By and Dragonslide. Sadly, Quinn forgets about them during season 4, somewhere around the same point he forgets about the Professor and Wade.

Ain't sliding grand...

I brought Sabrina Lloyd's hair extensions. I CAN'T be the only one who thought she looked sexier with long hair, can I?....... Ok, maybe I can.

... brought to you by St. John's Antiwort. :-<

But relating to this ep, I bring this tuna sandwich in honor of there being TWO Wades in this ep. Ahhhh, the possibilities!!!!! :-D Who cares if one of them is evil and brainless?

PS. When making a sandwich, make sure the evil one is on the bottom. It's safer that way.

Hmmmmm

I'll bring the second most used prop in Sliders history - the (apparently Universal) Almanac. The most used prop, of course, being Kari Wuhrer. ;-)

Well, okay, pre-recorded. But you can't *blame* our subject, seeing as it IS a videotape!

Yes, it's the infamous home video in which disgraced tech maven Wade Welles sends her husband to his watery grave! The video spread like wildfire, gaining worldwide recognition, when avant-garde digital artist Bad_CRC edited it into a fast-paced, techno music video and unleashed it onto the Internet.

[A snippet plays from the video. A cheesily inserted Wade pushes Quinn from a variety of heights, including a cliff, a skyscraper, a waterfall, an airplane and the Eiffel Tower. A pulsating soundtrack repeats the phrase "All your insurance are belong to I."]

Tonight, this cassette joins us fresh from its first-place-winning stint on "America's Funniest Snuff Films," hosted by Dave Coulier. It's very glad to be here! The line for autographs starts to the right...

... the missing scene with the Kromagg.

GILLETTE: I did as you asked. I brought you Q.R.'s dead body.

KROMAGG: Excellent! We can use his DNA to create an altered clone of Quinn. We'll name him Colin and have him infiltrate the sliders pretending to be Quinn's long lost brother.

GILLETTE: But Q.R.'s been dead for about two and a half days. Will this process really work?

KROMAGG: Yes, but there could be some minor side effects. For example, the clone might run like a duck.

GILLETTE: So what's the point of all this?

KROMAGG: The Colin clone is but one element in my master plan to destroy the sliders. During the next year, I will be working hard to bring them down in other ways. I plan on having one of them killed in the most humiliating way possible. Another will be dragged off to one of our breeding camps and turned into a fish tank. Another, the one we implanted the tracking device in, will slowly transform into a lifeless bufoon who will show very little emotion or concern about the loss of the other two. The last one will have to suffer the humilation of being the only one to stick it out until the bitter end. Bwahahahaha!!!!

(The Kromagg now pulls off his mask to reveal an even more horrifying sight ...)

GILLETTE: David Peckinpah?!?

Okay..

I'll bring the swimming pool. "Our" Quinn would have been better off going that way. Anything would've been better than becoming Robert Floyd.
