Since I am not usually one who sums up my opinion on Sliders EPs I decided to do one, covering all of S4 and thus far of S5, I'm not useing the stars and all, just saying what i think
Genisis-THE most F**ked up episode in Sliders history, I mean it changes where Quinn is from,kills Wade,turns Remmy into the MAGGS MUST DIE type and changes EarthPrime from our earth to another one. Simply the overall stupidest episode of Sliders.
Prophets & Loss I admit I enjoyed a little of this ep, the idea of the Religious Right takeover was funny. But was it EVER explained WHY they were killing all these people? not to my satisfaction anyway. Silly ep
Common Ground- A decent ep, for season 4 anyway. I liked the "Wade Wannabe" girl.
Virtual World, I hate it in comics when it is an "imaginary Story" so Sliders is no different.
World Killer- One of the better episodes of this season. I'll give it to them for the 1st part, but WHY did we need a "Big Boss" guy? It was stupid and served no purpose.
Oh Brother Where Art Thou-It introduced the single most stupid and annoying Slider ever, Colin. Need i say anything more?
Just Say Yes - OK this was silly everyone medicated, the "Beaver family" wannabe Colin & Maggie, not to mention the "Super Soldier" guy.
Alternaville Horror-1st Problem, Colin was a major part of this ep. The only good and orig things where the doubles. I like the idea somewere Remmy is a genius, and i gotta say it JOC makes a good obnoxious Jerk (not that it took any "Acting" whatsoever)
Slidecage-Good ep, I like the peace finally made between them at the end, and adding to the idea not all Maggs are evil. I didn't care for the adopted son or the guy in the walls myself
Asylum-It was ok, but really the friend of maggs doctor, and remmy just leaving her turned me off. And Humans learning Magg technuiqes, dont that go against EVERYTHING we knew about the Maggs?
California Reich-I liked the try at confronting raceism, but have seen it better done many times.
Dying Feilds-OK, we finally saw humaggs, other than that it was entirely predictable, good part was seeing the older sister from Alex Mack.
Lipschitz Live- Although i think it should have been called "Springer runs America" It was funny, and i loved the "Met my female double" "Did you have sex with her" bit.(althought I wish we really DID know the answer) the fake Slider was funny too.
Mother & Child-Do I even have to say anything? A try at emotion that failed miserably.
Net Worth- haves vs have nots, 2 lovers who are seperated forever, Anyone ever seen this before? Yeah i have too and done much better.
Slide By Wire-return of S3 Maggie, only as a double.
Data World-When you have a Midget as your hero you KNOW you are in trouble
Way Out West/I hate Westerns, but it had some good humor. One of the best of season 4
my Brothers Keeper-JOC plays a good idiot, a role he returned too when he quit sliders. a pretty good ep, but still not as good as most of Season 5 (IMO)
Chasm-What the hell were they thinking?
Roads Taken-I still say it was the best ep of season 4. but that isnt saying much
Revelations-Oh brother, another one of sliders Stupidest eps, What makes me even more mad is how good the 1st idea was. Nice work totally forgetting about Wade and showing what a jerk S4 Quinn was. And the acting of Jerry proved he was just waiting to leave.
S5-------------------------------------
Unstuck Man-A decent way of handleing Quinn & Colinleaving, anything that got rid of Colin is a plus. Mallory may not have been the best idea, but it was either that or Remmy saying "Well things sure have changed since we lost old Q-ball & Farmboy
Applied Physics-Good ep, an ep of sliders that actually made you think, something nothing in S5 did.
Stranger & Comerades-Could have been done much better, i give points to Tembi cause playing Shell Shcoked it tough.
The Great WOrk-The bad script
New Gods For Old-Best ep since Arturo left, made you think, and for once did things with a grey area, not just balck & white, right & Wrong.
Press 1-Good ep, possible real future.(ever read the bible, it was more or less what the bible says will take place during the tribulation)
Current Affair-VERY funny episode, great play on the Clinton Scandle. Good to see some actors from old fav shows (Alien nation-Weird Science)
Java Jive-Remmy sang, so it goes in my good book.
Return of maggie Beckett-Great ep, kari did some good acting. And I loved The Leader.
Requim-Sad episode, but good one,I like how it left open for the return of Wade.
Map Of The Mind- an OK ep, if they had just made the inventor a depressed guy, taken out his daughter,Diana Telekinesis and her "one with the universe" stuff it would have been much better.

.. well .. it seems that I like more episodes than you. I like Jerry O'Connell more than you, and I like season 5 the same as you -- except I thought Applied Physics should have been better.

I won't get too much into what s4 eps were better, but here are my opinions : Alternativille Horror was one of the BEST Sliders episodes, Data World was NOT bad because of the midget, but because of a silly script (I still liked the scifi aspect of it), the Chasm was at least ok, and I hope you mean that New Gods for Old was the best episode since Arturo was still on, not since he left in Exodus (I HOPE you didn't like Exodus' death of Arturo ...)

I love the way you left Easy Slider off ... I would too. Of course, it was probably a little mistake.

Easy Slider- Look they took an FW script. (couldn't resist)
I ment it was the best ep since ones with Arturo, since Arturo left, and better than some with him (Dragonslide,the Tremors/Dune ripoff) And I didn't mean JUST because the Midget, but it is a good rule that if a Midget saves your life you were desperate.
