OK, i noticed a couple of posts talking about this board is dieing and such. Look guys I was the frigin target of this spamming, If anyone should be POd and leave the board, it's me. But i don't plan on leaving.
If you guys want to post as well on other boards that's one thing, but don't abandon this one. I mean people get computers every day, when Sliders is canned new people are probably gonna come here with no previous idea it was canned and ask about next season, do you want the spammer, or a new JOCnatic to answer them in saying "The show is cancled forever, it sucks"??
I mean we just read blinkers TWIW Musical about the board looseing some people. Also what makes you think this guy won't spam those boards too? He has the time to do it here, and if there is no one to annoy here he will find one of the other boards.
I've said it before when our problem was JOCnatic season 5 haters, I will stay on this board until i am the last person here, or until i don't have the net. So do me a favor and make the last person here thing not be soon.
Sure there are spammers around, but just ignore them.

I will post on other boards at times, but there are still lots of people here whose posts I enjoy reading. You guys are right, if we leave, the idiots get exactly what they want. This is the first place the newbies will come, we need to be here to get them to help save the show, at the least.

Just like the show itself - this board is certainly dying. Even if Sci-Fi (for whatever unforseen reason) decided to maintain this board after the demise of Sliders you know what would happen.At first there would still be a lot of posters proclaiming their undying devotion to the show. Then like friends that have moved away from each other, the undying posters would in fact begin to fade - one after the other. A few diehards would remain until the bitter end, but eventually it would all end.
This is simply another thing that you have to be prepared for. It may not be fair or appropriate but it is reality.
I agree that it doesn't have to happen today - but rest assured - it will happen.

I really don't mean to be mean - I simply mean to describe what will be.If you want me to be gone before you - send me a message the day before. If I am in a good mood I may comply - if I'm not I'll tell you to go to - oh never mind - you get the idea! The optimal force behind our combined departure is the Sci-Fi channel - and you trust them to leave it up to you and me? The way I see it is - you tell me you're leaving on a Tuesday and before I can answer Sci-Fi cuts us off on Monday.
But - regardless - just let me know.

You know, I was thinking; you're a tool. You think that just because SLIDERS is being cancelled means that we still won't come here? How delightfully....childish that is! You fail to grasp the obvious...we're all friends here. Granted, TemporalFlux and SpaceTime will probably have to find new hobbies...but for the rest of us, we'll continue on just as we always have, visiting the board, and talking to our friends. There are other interests here than just SLIDERS (as you and that anal pirate DonProc pointed out). We like music, art, science, other shows, games, movies, books. This is not just a SLIDERS board, but an international (we've got Canadians!!! ROCK ON!!) communications forum whose main topic happens to be SLIDERS, though that isn't its only topic. I'm never gonna leave.This is pretty much the only reason I come online anymore is to check this board. Everything else wore me down, and pretty much bores me. (Except for my acro team, if anyone plays and needs to be on a team let me know)
