Just recently joined the Dominion, but an old Sliders fan and obviously not the only one=).
I'm heartbroken that Jerry and Charlie will be leaving the show. In fact, I would never had known that if I hadn't come to this board. I'm a mom of two, so I don't have time to read much. My youngest is 4 weeks old and we named her Mallory Quinn( no kidding), of course some people think we got the name from "Family Ties", unlessI tell them her middle name ( of course some people still don't get the connection).
I must have missed the Invasion episode in it's original run...... The Kromaggs look SO different... is there a reson for this? are later Kromaggs actually from a different world or are we not supposed notice the change?
Well, this seems like a cool place to post and I'm sure ya'll will see me around from time to time.

I guess us Sliders fans eventually find this bboard. Great, huh? (Maybe it's earth prime.) Oh, well.....welcome to a really fun place. You can learn alot here, real fast. The later Kromaggs are not from a different world, you were right in thinking 'we're not supposed to notice'. It's called 'different executive producer'. Can't wait till June 11 when Season 5 starts to see what they have done to our beloved Sliders.
BTW, great name for your daughter--love it!

Hey, I like what you named your little girl! I have decided I am going to name my first son Quinn. In addition to being a Sliders reference, Quinn is also a family name (my great grandparents I think). Anyway, welcome to the board and I hope you like it here!

As for the Kromagg thing (if it wasn't already mentioned in the previous reply), in short, we weren't supposed to notice the difference. Almost an insult to our intellegence, huh?

I love what you named your daughter! If I ever have a little girl I plan on naming her Wade. Not just because of my favorite character, but that's always been one of my favorite names (it's unique too).

The Kromaggs have changed alot since Invasion, haven't they? They're not as sinister, scary, evil-looking as they were. And their powers (telepathy, psychic, etc.) aren't as "mystical" as they were. Now they're basically stupid-looking and boring. They could have been a great re-curring villian in season four, but NO.........

Oh well, welcome to the board. I trust you'll like it here...it's a great group of people and you're always learning new things (I know I am!) about the show that you probably never would have (thanks to TemporalFlux, among others). Hope to see ya around!
