A "little" BBoard Tribute

Date: 7/26/99
From: Mychand

The following comment by Chaser9 got me thinking about all of the great people I have met here. I have been working on this for awhile as a tribute to those who have made these last ten months a blast. Look at is a yearbook of sorts. Forgive me if I forget anyone. There are soooo many people!
Mychand :o)

The famous quote:
Yes, the name of the BOARD may be SLIDERS, but it's more than that. This board is a place where friendships have been forged. If not for this board many of us never would have met. Yes, we are all tied together by the same thing, A love for the show SLIDERS. But that's not what this board is really about. It's about people with a common interest getting together, discussing the show, airing their ideas, entertaining others and forging friendships that could last a lifetime.

Could the fact that the writers really stink have somthing to do with the fact of Jerry O'Connell leaving the show? Hmmm.

Hi there neighbour!

Wow, I joined this bboard so that I could chat to sliders fans from all over the world, only to find that there's one just a few miles up the road - what are the odds?

I don't really know who started it but I'm beginning to think
maybe I should just declare myself Switzerland and let you two
duke it out (and I really don't know if either one of you would
want me on your side in a "war of wits" anyway...my ammunition
is kind of low right about now!).

Anyway, we *all* seem to agree on quite a few things, chief of
which is that Kari is, indeed, a slut! But I'd watch out when
I answer Question #1, BritSlider. I'm still on probation after
I answered that one incorrectly (just kidding 1013shan...I hope!)

Ironically, the orgasm was the best Quinn ever had..It must have been good for Logan also because he was able to grab the timer just before she fainted....

[again sorry - but what the hell did you guys do to me..besides..i said no EXPLICT sex scenes..that was kind of subtle... :)1013shan}

I feel kind of left out
I mean, TF has a double, TM has a double. Where's my double! I only wish somebody would try to convince everyone they're me! Only because it'd be great to humiliate the imposter. Anyway, The Kromagg Agenda pt. 2 should be up tomorrow so be looking for it.

Man, Data World was lame, but funny. Did anyone see Colin do some karate on that big Thor dude. Man, I was laughing my ASS off. I just thought of something, If Charle would start in a kung-fu movie, it would be called, "Enter the Duck". LOL.

Proff "Hot Legs" Arturo
You know...he may not be Pavorati afterall, but eh....nice boxers! I have made MY pick for the best lover....I told you I needed to do more research! How about that teasing bit of shoulder?? We have definately been missing Arturo for all the wrong reasons!!

Really. Very nice. And so nostalgic.

I still want him.

I think you should be kind. After all I was out of the country at the time. And if I remember Sarah's story you have a pretty prime set already.

Of towel boys! Geez what filthy minds.

Seriously, nice job. Is this what you have in mind for 1000?

Peace

Great job Mychand! Reading through, I couldn't help but have a slight feeling of sadness...but at the same time, I kept having a smile brought to my face reading through the memories. Here's to many more in the future and take care!

What a trip down memory lane! I just love it. Would you believe I remember almost every one of those quotes! You did a great job of putting this together. I know it must have taken quite a bit of time, but believe me, it is greatly appreciated. It was really neat to go back and remember all of those guys. It's sad that some of them are not around anymore to read this.

Awesome job, Mychand. Thanks.

I was sneaking around the bopard, but I had to reply to this one! First of all - great job! second of all - you better have that computer outside in the sun with you as you sip a "cocktail" becuase you are supposed to be spending some time outside!!!! Third of all - DID I REALLY WRITE THAT??? Oh my God, you know I thought that sounded familiar but until I read the bottom I wasn't sure... UGH - I guess I can't run for president now... Fourth of all, -- I have just taked a drink of the forbidden nectar - like the alcholic who is taking "one more drink", I have a feeling I'll be back for more..

GREAT JOB MYCHAND - that was totally fun

For including me!!

This was wonderful! I greatly appreciate all your hard work (and I know that this took a lot of time and effort). You did a great job of showing folks out there how fun this BB can be. Though I haven't been around for very long, and didn't recognise many of the quotes, I certainly enjoyed reading them!!

I was a loner in high school and it looks like I'm a loner in the yearbook, too (to the point that I was forgotten). I'll be damned. *pouts* Oh, well, I'll see everyone around the bboard anyway.

Beatuiful work, Mychand! Did my speech really inspire that? After all, it just seemed like the right thing to say, especially where Exec was concerned.

Thanks for all the wonderful memories you've unearthed! BTW, that reminds me, I never really did get an evil double! The closest I ever got was a response to that post by a Chaser_9. Oh, and when the flamming newbies referred to me as Spazer9 . . . .

Thanks, and here's to a million more!

What are you trying to say, Blinker???? :-) I really was going to do it again, but there would be so much "Ugly" these days that it would be 10,000 words long!

Hmmmm. That wouldn't be so bad, actually. :-P

Mychand, this was great!!! I would swear that a couple of these are from before the Great Post Purge!! Have you been saving posts all along? If so, that was great thinking.

<dabs eyes> Man, there is a lot of dust in here all of the sudden, my eyes are watering.

Can we add Mortica14 to that gone but not forgotten list???? Speaking of the Purge, all trace of her has been vaporized.

What a Blast!!

That took a LOT of work on your part!! Thanks for doing it and thanks for all the fun quotes.

You know, I'd forgotten...

From: SlidingThrough

...how much fun we used to have! How I couldn't wait to get here every day just to talk to my friends. And I remember every single one of those posts, how scary is that! :-)

Thanks for bringing back all the great memories, Mychand. And thank you and Chaser9 for reminding me of something I needed to remember right now. That good times on this board may come and go(kind of like real life!) but the friends I've made here will always make it worth riding out the bad times.

Hey! Thanks for mentioning Kel and I. Thanks mychand for introducing me to some very interesting and creative people. I wish I had more time to be on the board, but as you know my life is hectic right now. Thanks for being such a great friend!
