Just heard about the Paradox marathon on Sci-Fi. "Why come" we can have a marathon of a lame, rip-off, 2 month old series but we can't have a Sliders marathon!!??!!

Things I would do if I found out we had a 24 hour (season 1-3) Sliders marathon scheduled for next weekend:

1) Run naked (I found out while I was in the shower) to the store and buy 4 tapes for slp speed and another 12 tapes for sp speed.

2) Bribe, beg, or steal my father's extra VCR.

3) Run back to the store and purchase Jolt cola, a 36 pack of Goody's, an expresso machine, and one of those little bouncing up and down chickens to keep bouncing on my head and keep me awake.

Hmmm. Did I forget anything?

Ha! Ha! Ha! I don't think I would need anything to keep me awake. I have never seen seasons 1-3 so I would definitely be paying attention! I bet they are just showing Paradox to try and get more people interested in it. They know Sliders already has a pretty loyal following. I mean, does Paradox have a board like this one? Maybe everyone should right in and suggest a Slider's marathon! Or we could all stop watching and get thier attention. I'm kidding! I hope that earlier rumors are right and that we DO get to see seasons 1-3 in January. :) Time will tell. After tomorrow night, I wonder when we will know when the next new ep will be? Guess you will have to have another countdown! Oh, and how were you watching TV in the shower, ha! ha! :)

You did forget something ---- LP (4 hour) speed! I know there aren't too many VCRs manufactured these days with all 3 recording speeds, except for Panasonic. Is it safe to say that your VCR isn't a Panasonic model?

As much as I enjoyed watching SLIDERS, I don't collect it by the way -- too many changes in cast and format...
