Sliders Stars In The Future

Here is what I think will happen to the stars of Sliders in the future:

Cleavant Derricks: I think that he will finally be recognized for his talent in a few years and will probably become involved in more movies, or put out CD's.

John Rhys-Davies: Well, he is already a famous actor. I think that he will probably make a few more movies and then retire about 10 years from now.

Sabrina Lloyd: I think that she will continue making TV shows until she actually gets on one that doesn't get cancelled, and becomes a hit. Maybe make a few movies too.

Jerry O'Connell: He becomes involved in more bad movies to try to boost his career. He make a few movie's that are popular, but not many. He will eventually be kidnapped by someone who can only be described as "having a loathing for JOC's ego and being obsessed with some vampire comic..."

Charlie O'Connell: He will be in anything that "Big Brother" can find. Charlie will probably spend the rest of his life starring in gay porn movies and sleeping at the foot of Jerry's bed.

Kari Wuhrer: She will star in more decent movies then in her past and actually make something of herself. Who knows, she may even develop a heart.

Robert Floyd: Rob might star in a few movies, but mostly stay on TV shows or Made For TV movies.

Tembi Locke: Tembi will try out for a big motion picture, but is turned down when the producers say "We would hire you, if only more people knew who you were. We also haven't seen much of your work. I mean, the only thing you've done is have a role on some Sci-Fi show where you were on camera for 2 minutes an episode." So, Tembi goes insane and kidnaps Peckinpah, sticking him in a cellar, forcing him to watch endless repeats of Season 4.

My ideas on the future

Date: 3/30/2000
From: Slider_Dee

Let's see, let me get out my crystal ball. Where are the sliders stars doing in the future???

Cleavant Derrick ::: because of his age and his race, he never makes it big. However, because of his talent and his fundamental decency of character, he's able to continue making his living as an entertainer, in off-Broadway plays and supporting roles in television series, in musicals and (occasionally) as a singer.

John Rhys-Davies:: agree with you

Sabrina Lloyd :: agree with you

Jerry O'Connell:: it depends. version 1: he cleans up his act re beer and women. He lands the lead in Spiderman or some other big movie and becomes a hot star for a year or two (like Ben Affleck or Matt Damon). Then his star fades but he's still able to land a decent role or two a year. Besides, his success from Spiderman or whatever gives him enough money that he can retire early if he wants to. version 2: he does not clean up his act re beer and women. He just misses getting leading roles in films like Spiderman but continues with the "B" movies like Buying the Cow or Tomcats, for a few years at least. Then he gets older and can no longer land even those roles. He winds up in various television series and/or supporting roles featuring hot young stars (with him as the plot-moving older role).

Charlie O'Connell::: I don't see a future in acting for him. For his sake, I hope he's developing other career options, something that he is REALLY good at and can find personal satisfaction doing. I don't know the guy so I don't know what it could be but there are thousands of occupations in America that he can persue. He still does the occasional walk-on bit parts in his brother's or friend's movies, and (at least while he's still young) modelling.

Kari Wuhrer :: continues to do tv/movie roles that require her to take her clothes off (or at least be scantily dressed). When she gets older, and can no longer get those roles, well, by that time she's found some guy to marry so she doesn't have to worry about making a living anymore.

Robert Floyd:: Agree

Tembi Locke:: she has real acting talent, all she needs is a break and she can be co-starring with Taye Diggs or Denzel Washington in their next film. Questionable whether or not she'll mention Sliders once she hits the big time, since she was on only one year and in a supporting role at that.

Peckinpah:: Given another series to produce, told :: we want that adolescent boy demographic!!! And, since he still has an adolescent boy humor, he continues with enough success to support himself and his family.

Future of the Slider's stars

Here is my predictions:

Clevant Derrick: He puts out another CD which gets great reviews and goes double platinum, and wins the AMA award for best male vocalist; does a sitcom on ABC, and wins an EMMY for best actor in a comedy; stars in the new Sliders movie, and wins an OSCAR for best actor; He goes back to Broadway, does another musical, and wins another TONY for best male lead in a musical. He is the first in history to win an OSCAR, an EMMY, a TONY, and an AMA award.

John Rhys-Davies: Makes a few more movies as a supporting actor to some of Hollywoods great stars, is heralded by many for his lifelong work, and is nominated for an Academy Award as a supporting actor, and wins (because everyone knows in Hollywood that the true sense of an actor is John!)

Sabrina Lloyd: 'Sports Night' is picked up by NBC, is put between 'Friends' and 'Frazier'. It is a success, but unfortunately, she is canned. However, when Courtney Cox leaves Friends to be a full-time Mom, Sabrina is cast as a new member and gets rave reviews. She meets Robert Floyd at a Sliders 10 year anniversary party, falls in love with him, marries him and is known in the business as 'Sabrina Lloyd-Floyd' HAHA

Robert Floyd: Does a few more made for TV movies, is cast as Quinn Mallory over Jerry in the Sliders movie, and lands on 'ER' as a pediatric intern.

Tembi Locke: Goes back to daytime soaps and has a successful career for many years.

Charlie O'Connell: gets many minor rolls in TV and movies. Returns to NYU as its fencing coach, is named the fencing coach for the US Olymic Team, which wins its first medal in the event.

Jerry O'Connell: Has many misses in movies. Returns to TV in a sitcom opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar-Prinze on FOX.

Tracy Torme: Becomes Creative Consultant/writer to the new Star Trek spin-off series on UPN.

David Peckinpaugh: becomes a writer for children programming on PBS

thats my spin
