Hello, my name is HurriKain and you are watching SliderNews.

After a year and a half of peace, The Beret War has somehow resurfaced. The first war started on account of a Sliders episode where the main characters were wearing berets. After a series of post concerning the headgear made by the female population, War was declared by the male population, who wanted to ban berets from gracing the bboards. The war was very brutal, even I penetrated the HQs of both sides and barely made back to the studio in one piece. My camera man Murray, who was captured by the ABL but was returned shortly, ended his employment here because of the war. Luckily, SL4ever was kind enough to assist me with the camera work during my infiltrating duties. After a few more months of steady fighting, we learned that the BFA leader was missing in action, and opposing leaders, spaz119 and BritSlider, made peace, bringing the Beret war to an end.

But now, tensions have resurfaced. BBoard posters Mychand and sleepingtiger have recently declared war in the name of berets. Since the old members of the BFA and the ABL have disbanded, they are currently looking for new recruits. Even though the two ladies have taken up leadership for the newly formed BFA, it is not known that the ABL has even picked a leader yet, but there are rumors that posters HunterD_Raven and QBall79 are in frontrunning of the head position.
