You may remember Brannon Braga as the pixie-stick-snorting anti-hero of Slider_Quinn21's 'Earth 12243' series. "Peckinbraga," as he's called, helps Peck convert Sliders into a vastly entertaining mix of Kari taking her clothes off and faked messages from the Emergency Broadcast System to cover up the lack of ANY script.What you may not realize is the sheer aptness of the casting. See, on *our* world, Brannon Braga works for Voyager. He helped put together episodes such as *this* one:

I have often referred to Peckinpah as the Brannon Braga of Sliders. Braga was co-writer of the stupidest idea in Trek history--killing Captain Kirk. Under Braga, Trek has declined to a point where it is a shell of what it once was. If I were running Trek, I wouldn't let Braga into a Trek movie if he bought a ticket.
