I figure, in response to the Grammies, we here at the Sliders board need our own awards. Has this been done before? Oh, you bet your ass it has. But have I participated? No.This award is named after one of Kari's two claims to fame. But WHAT IF it wasn't encased in skin and WHAT IF it was covered in silver and mounted atop one of those trophy stands? I believe this is an accurate extrapolation of the concept behind Sliders.
So, here's the deal. Think up your own criteria, and I'll put down some of mine. Think up one (no more, no less) nominee for each one of your criteria. And if you're replying to this, give nominees for pre-establised criteria, if you want. Try not to use one nominee more than once.
By the way, none of us care what awards YOU think you should win, so don't bother nominating yourself. I mean, I was going to give myself Least Attention, Most Apologetic, and a ton of others, but who'd really care? Nobody!
After this, I'll prune the criteria down to a small but respectable official list, ask for more nominees, take some votes, and pass out the awards.
