2. I really liked Last Days.

3. I would like to see the Kromaggs defeated, and to have Quinn and Mallory seperated.

4. I thought the Professor had the most interesting Character. But I loved all of the org. cast.

5. Quinn and Wade.

6. Sliders goes to "Gone with the Wind." It's my favorite book. Or I wouldn't mind a Sliders meets Buffy.

7. I would be very tempted, but probally not, I couldn't stand leaving my children.

1. The Pilot (when it first aired)

2. Season 1 - 3.5 (After JRD left it was hell trying to find an excuse to watch Peck throw his $hit at us)

3. PTSS (which Professor Slid), Kromagg Tracking Device (from Torme`, NOT from the Sci-Fi regime), Maggie finally being left behind, Quinn finally being separated from Mallory, etc.

4. Arturo (definitely most interesting character on the show), The Cryin' Man, Wade (hey...who wouldn't want to be interested in a sexy chick with a poetic lick?), and finally Bennish. Quinn's okay...just not as interesting as the others.

5. The original cast, first two awesome seasons, Torme`, Weiss, Cleavant, Sabrina, JRD, wormholes, Motorola Micro TAC Ultra Lites, astrophysics, Super String Theory, the finally-attainable proof of the unified field theory (the "holy grail" of theoretical physics, as Arturo put it) due to Quinn's genius.

6. Would love to have seen an X-Files crossover. Both shows were friends when filming together in Vancouver and they fit together perfectly. Hard to imagine why a crossover was never done.

7. Oh, hell yeah! First of all, I'd have to make sure that their geometric spectrum stabilizer is functioning properly, they have a timer with more powerful memory management, and to take digital video cameras (if they're electric-field proof) to film Elvis' performances...IF he happens to be alive on that Earth.

8. Because I was a bit disappointed in the ATS newsgroup and hoped to find more rewarding, intelligent Sliders conversations. I still have yet to find them. Just kidding, of course! =D

1) I first got into the show right at the airing of the pilot in '95. Youch.

2) Hmmmm. I don't know, that's tough for me, and I think my opinion on this changes frequently. I have a lot of love for every season other than the third, which largely makes me wretch. The second and fifth probably rank as the best for me. But I give the best episode award to "The Guardian", despite being part of third season.

3) This is already kind of answered by my site, but, for what it's worth, my top priorities would be defeat the Kromaggs, separate Quinn and Mallory, and re-stick Colin. In that order. Fourth place goes to a return and closure for Logan.

4) I find that Rembrandt, Maggie, and Mallory interest me the most. But I think all of the characters were interesting, some just because we knew so little about them. I mean, look at Colin -- incredibly thin character, because he never got a chance to develop his own identity after he got past his initial amazement at sliding. And yet, somehow, that also makes him a bit interesting in retrospect, since we knew so little about him. A fanfic writer could take him in all sorts of directions if they were so inclined.

5) Probably the season 5 cast. That's how we left them, and I have a lot of love for them, so they're the final and most immediate image in my head.

6) Quantum Leap would be a natural. Too bad both shows are dead.

7) Hell no! Something always goes wrong, for god's sake.

8) At the end of season 4/start of season 5, when I rediscovered Sliders after a year and a half of missing it, I wanted to see what other fans were out there. Here, through a visit to the official site, I think I found the best community there is on the 'net, so far, of those fans.

Do I *have* to answer #1?! My answer terrifies me. I don't understand it. Ugh.

1.) A rerun of Exodus PT-2. LOL. Yes, I am serious.

2.)I think Season 1 was the best. And my pick for the episode would have to be the Pilot.

3.)Most of all, I want to know what happened to Remmy. At the end of the series, he was my top priority.

4.)I think Wade, out of them all, was the most interesting. Her character ws so complex and sincere, that I connected with her the most.

5.)<says 'Sliders' to self> The timer.

6.)X-Files, or maybe Early Edition.

7.)Only if they could ensure me a way back home, which they couldn't, so NO!

8.)I came her first by accident, I didn't know there was a message board. (I'd been surfing around SciFi.) But as I started reading the posts more often, I was impressed with the community. I wanted to be a part of that, but it took me a long time to work up the nerve.

1.) No Episode, The Fact that JOC was in it was good enough for me... but When I watched the Pilot one, I guess I was in.

2.)Well.... There were alot of them... The ones that really stand out were Love Gods, Eggheads, and The King is back. I Also LOVED Season 4... That was the Funniest Season.

3.)I would like to see what happend to Remmy at the Series Finale and I would like to see Quinn and Mallory Separated.

4.) The Characters that are interesting to me are Remmy, Quinn and Maggie.. I am interested in Remmy b/c he's SOOO Cool... And Quinn B/C Well.. He's my favorite and Maggie b/c I want to see how HUGE that stick up her ass is.

5.)um.... Quinn, timer, Vortex, Weird Dream I had last night.

6.)A cross over w/ the X-Files.

7.)HELL YEAH!!!! Wait let me think... Never seeing my Parents again, Never seeing the annoying kids down the street again, have the BEAUTIFUL Quinn Mallory at my Side... GEE THAT'S HARD. HELL YEAH!!!!

The second part of the Pilot. It was a rerun in the middle of season 1. I went to see one of my friends and he was watching it. Next thing I knew I was asking him tons of questions about it.

The Pilot IS the best episode. Seasons 1 and 2 are the best seasons.

I want all of the story lines resolved.

Excellent Sci-Fi series that was destroyed by those idiots at SFC.

I would like to see a Sliders/Star Trek crossover. I read part of a fan fic about Remmy sliding onto the Enterprise (from SEER world) and it seemed really interesting. Too bad there was only one part to that.

Scully: Looks like some badly made home movie. Whoever took this definitely is an amateur. See how the picture shakes and the lighting is bad.

Mulder: It's not a home movie. This is from a witness who claims that these four people here (pauses as the sliders fall onto of each other) came out of a whirlpool of light.

Scully: (skeptical) Whatever. When are we going?

Mulder: In an hour. Going to the city by the bay, San Francisco. (puts on a 49'ers cap)

Scully: I'll bring a windbreaker. Never know when the fog rolls in.

>>> 'Quantum Leap' I think this crossover would rock. Sam jumps into Quinn right after they slide into that world. Sam fixes the timer so the sliders finally can go home. In return, Quinn fixes Ziggy's retrieval program so Sam can finally go home. Right before the sliders jump into the vortex right, the retrieval program kicks in. Sam leaps into his body and is finally reunited with Donna, Sammy Jo and Al. Hmm... sounds like I should write this crossover.;)

7. If someone offered you a way to visit parallel dimensions by sliding, would you take that offer?

>>> Only if the following conditions were met: I could get home in one shot, I would slide with a group, the vortex could be activated early without causing random sliding, a damping field so that the vortex couldn't be tracked by someone following, no interference in that parallel's history and inhabitants, I could somehow get electronic equipment to document the world and finally the assurance that no double of mine was going to take my place when I left. Since all these conditions wouldn't be met, I'll have to refuse.

1) The Pilot. Five years later, there was still no turning back.

2) S1 and 2 are each the best in different ways. S1 has the highest consistent quality, but S2 branches out into more original alt-histories and SF premises.

3) All those Missing Sliders.

4) I've always had a soft spot for Colin and Diana, those underused characters who never have a clue what's going on.

5) Nothing in particular... whatever ep I've most recently watched, I suppose.

6) The X-Files is of course the most obvious, and it's an enduring tribute to stupidity that this wasn't attempted while both shows were filming... in Vancouver... for FOX... to air during consecutive timeslots.

Though Red Dwarf would be a lot of fun. 7:-P

1. Season 1, the pilot. I think I was flipping through the channels and only caught the last hour or so, while they were on Russsia world. I loved it. The alternate history made me want to tune in the next week. Then I got to enjoy the characters and I was hooked.

2. One and two. I loved the characters' interaction with each other and the stories weren't bad either.

3. Wade, Wade, Wade.

4. The Fab Four. I liked some others here and there(most notably Mallory), but they were great together.

5. Alternate histories. Second was great fanfic.

6. I don't know.

7. Would depend on who I was going with.

8. Because of all of the writers on the board. I don't know many people, in real life, who express themselves through writing. So I am fascinated by those who do. It is something I have just started to explore, so I come here in order to see those who do. Plus the fanfic is great. And most of y'all are nice people.

1. The earliest first run episode that I remember watching was Season 3's "Season's Greedings".

2. Seasons 1,2, and 5 were the best, in that order. Every season had likeable episodes, however.

3. I'd like to see the Kromagg arc come to a quick end, along with the "Quinn's from another Earth" arc. I'm in no hurry to see Quinn split from Mallory or Colin anchored. I would love to see the Professor come back.

4. I really liked all of the Sliders casts, though Maggie didn't grow on me until Season 5. I was also a big fan of the Recurring Double Characters, like Bennish and Pavel.

5. It doesn't come up in conversation that often, really. I'm the only one I know who was really a fan of the show.

6. Lots: Quantum Leap is a natural choice. There are several anime that I think could work with it, but not many of you would have heard of them. Also, First Wave. Despite the lack of fans on this board, I think a storyline in which the Sliders stumble upon FW's Cade in the middle of an experiment investigation would work.

7. Only if there was a way back and a way to know just where the hell I was going!

8. I came here close to the beginning of Sliders's run on Sci-Fi. It's really the only online board that I'm active in frequently.

1) I guess the first one, it was the most innovative and story-oriented.

2) Best episode: I like 'em all. Best Season: First one, no doubt.

4) Arturo. I love that pompous, Brit air he has about himself.

5) Jerry 'O Connell. That sucks, but it's what pops in there.

6) They shoulda done X-files. They were both filmed in the same place, at the same time, by the same network. It just shoulda happened.

8) I was turned onto it by my girlfriend. She was a big Sliders fan long before I was.

The Pilot...saw the commercial for it the day it was to air and tuned in. Been a fan ever since.

I just want the original cast brought back together to find the real Earth Prime (the one in Genesis being a fake). If other storylines are resolved as part of that, then great...if not, oh well.

Logan St. Clair. She had alot of depth that could have been explored not to mention the perfect anti-Slider for our group. I also see her as likely quite insane from her travels alone through the multiverse...

5. What is the first thing that pops into your mind when someone mentions 'Sliders'?

Barbecue ribs and Shawn Connery.

6. If 'Sliders' did a crossover with any show, movie or book, what would you like to see?

The potential is limitless as long as one remembers the Sliders are confined to a 400 mile radius with San Francisco as the center point. I still think X-Files was perfect crossover material even though I don't like that show.

The season that made me a fan was season 5 (hard to believe?)I liked it because they got rid of that stupid Quinn, man I hated him! But I began to watch the re-runs, and I came to like the original four better, now I hate season 5.

Now that I've seen them all I like season 1 for sure.

I want the Quinn/Mallory thing resolved, my mind has gone to the opposite thing as when I first started to seriously watch it.

Quinns cool, I liked the first and second Quinn better, because he was more scientific, and the show was more realistic because of it.

The first thing I think of when someone says sliders I think of the timer.

I would like to see it crossover with The X-files.

Hell yeah! I'd go to another world without a doubt, well if I knew I wouldn't get back I would tell the person to do more research, then I would go.

~oh gee, make it easy... I loved season one and two, and most of three. I didn't start being disgruntled until they killed off the Professor that was with them.

~I want a different Wade. I want the original team back together. Can Maggie have stayed on Pulsar world? Colin on Amish World? And Can we just forget S5 ever occured?!
