Love Changes
Love is this funny little feeling I never expected to hit me
Right between the eyes and I fell for all the cliches
Half my age and holding my heart in her hands

I made the toughest choice a man can make
Friends or lovers I chose to discover how deep
Our feelings went. This is not without hardships

Three of us travel a road all our own
Me, my beloved and a stranger
He doesn't come between us and all is well in my soul

Did that surprise anyone??? I hope so. Just remember she's not the Maggie we all know and love. She's a Margeret. I only have three more plots left. I'm not sure where I'm going to go. If you ideas of suggestions for general directions you'd be interested in seeing this take--I'd be interested in hearing them.

I'd like to give a special thanks to nole9 for his comments. That ranks right up there with one of DQ's earlier comments. I'd also like to thank my friends for putting up with me for the last few weeks--and while I'm at it apologize to those people (you know who you are) whom I insulted in any way (even a backhanded manner).

Anyhoo, thanks for reading. And thanks for supporting this little effort. Thanks to Blinker's work and Chaser9's concept and creation of otherworlds you can check these out at Earth 209715 [does anyone get those numbers???]. I'd also like to thank SL4ever for his alternate Exodus which got me thinking.

Is it my imagination or is that longer than the poem??? LOL

That's one of my favorites.

I wasn't expecting that at all. Ohhh... the plot thickens.

As for a direction to go, hmm... nothing comes to mind. <Tigs drops her jaw in disbelief.> Well <Hey, I didn't use that word in a reply. ;-)> I guess they aren't getting home or are they? Whaaaat? Only three more plots left. Grrrrr... Lipstick. :D

...but I'm hanging this one up in my locker (don't worry all credit will be given to you). It hits close to home if interpreted non-Sliders. It's a wonderful poem, THANKS again for keeping these going (hehe, our thank you war :). I cut last period today to go with some friends here (NYC, since you inquired), and I'm happy I did.

Peace out.

(Don't worry, that's a good thing!)

Awwwwwwwwwww! That did kinda surprise me, but it is so sweet that I can not praise it enough! And of course, I'm going to add my gratitude as well. THANK YOU! These story-poems brighten up my days and the board as well.

The good doctor

NOTE: These titles are making me really thirsty!
