Whiskey and soda (where is my mind?) FF

Logan's Run
Inside the cell dark, dank cell
Hair greasy and unkempt falls forward
Clothes are rags and unfit for wear
Waiting patiently for someone to help
At least a rescue shouldn't be too much

A guard falls noiselessly in death
A semi-stranger with a gun and keys
Works swiftly to open the doors
And quickly hauls the bedraggled prisoner
To her feet and toward the wating street

Wow. I got a first timer--thanks Eutsi. And it's nice to see some SL4ever action on the boards (trying not to hint at unfinished works of fiction ;-D). As always I am ever-grateful for the support. It's nice to know some people are enjoying these as much as I enjoy them.

Enjoy your weekends!

I've been reading them too. I've been a bit "brain-dead" for awhile, though. Your poetry requires thought, y'know! No sing-song stuff!

It's really very good!

:)

Are you still suffering....

from writer's block? Because if you are, I could probably do a study on the positive effects of that. ~;O)
Can't wait for the next one!

Well <note I didn't use this word in a reply title ;)> someone rescued Logan out of a prison cell.

I'm really enjoying your stories set in poem form. :D

I've been reading (and enjoying) all along. I'm sure others have been, too. Keep up the good work.
