Wade
& Magie belong in the Kitchen
Date: 1/6/99
From: ThomasMallthus
Wade and Magie should both be in the kitchen. Thats where all women
belong. A female army person what a load of crap, and a female freedom
fighter even more stupid. I believe all females belong in the kitchen
to put our dinner on the table. Im sure Quinn
and co would be much more happier if they had a cooked meal after each
slide. So stay in the kitchen where you belong and thats to all you
so call ladys out there.

Looks like I've got a double!!!
Date: 1/6/99
From: ThomasMalthus
I feel so honored. Don't they say that impersonation is the sincerest
form of flattery? Well, I am flattered! Now I've really experienced
Sliders to the fullest, doubles included. How many Sliders fans can
say that?
By the way, I love what Becky Thatcher said in an episode of "Life
Goes On". (I'm paraphrasing) She was asked "Do you believe
that the place of a woman is in the house?" She replied: "Yes.
The White House, the Governor's Mansion and the House of Representatives"
or something to that effect. Truer words have never been spoken.

Why
would RS target me?
Date: 1/6/99
From: ThomasMalthus
I mean, what have I done to RealSlider? I thought it might be that
Sliding_Paul guy, but he seems OK now that we've got that mess with
his first post straightened out. I really have no idea who would want
to impersonate me and why. Maybe a secret despiser?

TM:The
real one...
Date: 1/6/99
From: Mychand
It probably wasn't anything to do with you personally. Who knows.
I think it's just easy to blame RealSlider because of his past on the
board. It could be anyone. If so, you should be flattered. His last
impersonation was Jerry.

Thank you ThomasMalthus for clearing my name on the above post. We
may of had a disagreemant but as you said, its in the past. I would
not stoop that low to offend a fellow Sliders Fan.
On a different matter, im very interested in writing my own Sliding
Fan.Fic, can anyone tell me how I can get my stories on the Net with
the other aurthors.
Could you also explain what post 3163 is all about. Can anyone join?/How
often do you do this?
Cheers Sliding_Paul

Another
earth...
Date: 1/7/99
From: Cryin
Wow, I must have slid to another world last night because where I
live, TM`s grammar is superb and this new guy`s is pretty bad (TM knew
Magie was spelled M-A-G-G-I-E as well). By the way, maybe Wade doesn`t
belong in the kitchen, but I think most of us could agree that Maggie
should be locked in the kitchen closet (or any closet for that matter).
Anyway, locating the culprit is not important, but I must admit this
was quite humorous. It was a good idea for Sliding_Paul to eradicate
himself from the suspects because he was the first one that came to
mind when I read the post. Has anyone ever thought, by the way, that
Real_Slider could be anywhere? His name may just be changed...fascinating...actually,
I guess not really. Anyway, my thanks goes out to whoever wrote this
post- it made me laugh- but you may get some harsh posts from our women
Sliders.

Lower
standards...
Date: 1/8/99
From: Ijaz
Listen you trite and utterly poor excuse for banta excrement. You
obviously haven't done your homework. Women have been involved in military
actions since before your grandparents were born. Joan of Arc led the
French army into battle. Hanah Senesch flew was an airman in the Royal
British Air Force during WWII, she took down quite a few German planes
and military installations before she was killed in action near the
end of the war. During Korea and Vietnam women numbered almost as many
as the men overseas as nurses, doctors and correspondents. Many other
countries (Britain, Italy, France, Russia...) allow and in some cases
even seek out women for combat roles.
As for freedom fighters, I will only name one or two, but you will
see that they have been around and kicking since before either you or
I were born... Harriet Tubman, Hanah Senesch(before the Air Force she
fought to free the Jews), Rosa Parks... and if you were implying a more
militant freedom fighter type, there are many Nicaraguan, Haitian, Honduran,
Slavic, Serbian, East German, etc. women who would not hesitate for
an instant to show you true retribution.
I can't believe that I have lowered myself enough to speak to such
a horrid embodiment of sexist trash. Keep your unfounded and unsupported
fountain of mental swill off this bulletin board. Unlike you, some of
us actually do have mental competency, and prefer not to be bothered
by pre-pubescent imbeciles.
Take your masogenistic garbage and peddle it somewhere else,

That last reply was to the Thomas Mallthus with two "L's",
not to the one and only true TM.
