so i turn on my tv to watch sliders and it turns out jerry and colin oconnel r gone!!!!! this show was good when it began on scifi but now this season just blows how can u have sliders w/o the person that invented sliding????? how can u people still watch this stupid show w/o jerry????? the last season was the best how dare scifi fuck it all up this season by getting rid of jerry!!!!! i swear that black guy should of left the show not jerry!!!!! and whats with all this philosaphe????? sliders is supposed to be an action show!!!!! now all the actors need acting lessons im gonna stop watching sliders and start watching first wave its a much better show

First of all, how can you say that you are a Sliders fan when you just figured out that Jerry and Charlie are gone? Second, you said this show was good when it started on Sci-Fi and it sucks now. WAKE UP! Season 4 sucked! And then you say that last season was the best. What the hell is wrong with you? Now one of my biggest problems with your post. That black guy? If Jerry O'Connell was gonna act the way he did in Season 4, I'd rather have him off the show! I've always liked Cleavant better anyway. Next, you said that Sliders is an action show! Sliders was never ment to be an action show until damn Peckinpah came along. Have you even seen Season 1 and 2? Do you call those action?

And don't even get me started with fucking First Wave!

Jerry didn't write the scripts, people like Bill Dial & Marc Scott Zicree did. Jerry played a character. That's it. He may have produced a couple of episodes (I think he did some writing too), but other than that he just played the main character. I may be a fan of his, and while he certainly added something good to the show, it was never "his" to begin with.

If there's anyone to blame for "f*cking" up this show, it's

Quinn did not invent sliding. I do not remember them ever telling us who the first slider was.

If you refer to the piolt then you would remember that Quinn double gave him the final equation. His double had been sliding a few time before his world.

Then, I think it was season 3 they meet up with him again and he said he wanted Quinn to kill him.. He had guilt over giving the kromaggs the eqation.

The show is going strong without Jerry. They are starting to get back to the concept of the original show. This is the best season, in my opion, since Season 1,2,3.

If Sci-fi would give the show a chance then they could give Mallory's and Diana's charactors a chance to evolve.
