Hmmm...I have to say that was soooo different! I actually have a script of the Pilot so I knew what it was about although some of it had been changed.

Quinn really did seem different. He seemed more enthusiastic about Sliding than he does now. I guess that "discover new worlds" feeling is gone. (sigh) Of course, so is he.

I really liked Wade but I didn't realize she was so young. I guess so was Quinn. Ok, I actually think I like the way Jerry looks now better than then. Maybe it's the hair. LOL

The Prof was really cool. I guess I never pictured that there was humor with him. I thought he was suppose to be real serious. What did I know. :o) Of course, I took it as him being humorous.....

And...Remmie....What a big change! He's great! It would be nice to see more of that type of humor with him. I wonder if we will see it in season five?

Ok, this is just comments from someone who has never before seen seasons 1-3! I can't wait to see the rest. I love it so far!

I am a little tired of the whole rebel thing, but this is where is was first done, and early on it was not run into the ground. Still, I found myself liking part one better because of that burn out. And now... two more eps this week!!!!!! YES! And neither of them is about insurrection!!! :-P

Yeah, Wade looks really young, but so does Quinn. And wasn't that scene at the end great? That's the Quinn and Wade that I love.

I actually don't remember Remmy being so funny. I loved it! Especially that scene last night with the Spinning Tops. I doubt that he'll go back to being that way though, the story line doesn't allow for it.

Ahhh ... well that was the ep that got me hooked. It delivered!

I loved Pilot, and I've always thought that this is the way that is should be. Seeing worlds that could have been, exploring the cosmos with the original Fab Four. I miss the good ole days... thank god for reruns!

Sabrina Lloyd is actually 4 years older than Jerry O'Connell in real life. She probably didn't look young in the pilot, just short. (lol)

Sometimes when you've heard something hyped so much, no matter
how good it is it can be a letdown. I'm glad that didn't happen
for you.

It's funny, though...I first saw the pilot when Sci-Fi reran it
at the beginning of season 4 and I remember liking it but not
thinking it was anything particularly special. But this time I
guess I either saw things I didn't catch the first time (I know,
what a shock to find out I sometimes miss stuff!;-) or was just
in a much different mood, I'm not sure which. Either way, it was
great to see the original foursome in all their glory. I'm *so*
looking forward to the rest!

You can expect Remmy to act roughly like he did in season four from now on (minus the angst from early season four). You see, it was actually Cleavant Derricks who wanted the change in the character...he felt the season one version was stereotyped and he originally didn't want to sign up for it. Tracy Torm'e talked Cleavant into it by telling him that the character would change as the series progressed...and that began in season two.

In my opinion, Remmy is actually the character who best followed a logical course of maturing and developing on the show...of course, that may come from the fact that he's been there the whole time and we've seen more of him. In any case, the current Remmy is still cool and funny even though I liked the original one better...but, if Cleavant's happy then we should be too (lest he wouldn't have stayed either).
