For those of you who visit The Otherworlds fairly often, you may have seen mentions of Earth 71999. Well, there are no eps for it yet (that will come next season), but the page is finally up! To tell you the truth aside from the simularlities to the Scifi Sliders page I think it's awesome!I also like the fact that it IS simular to the Scifi page, and better than theres is, twofold.
Where to begin...I think the pic in the center of the page is a good one, and btw you conspiracy banner is also good.
This is what I am hoping for your otherworlds:
It becomes very realsitic and has good stories, and I am hoping you don't go over the edge with the season 6 opener and throw everything at us at one time. For example Arturo, Wade, and Colin show up, you kill Maggie seperate Mallory and have everything perfect in the first ep and at the same time throw in Logan. What I would like to see is you being put in the place of the writers at scifi if they had to do a season 6. 13 episodes with the season 5 cast and some guest appearances with a decent final episode over the span of 13-20 weeks.
Also maybe you should put something like Keith Damron did in the season 5 Diary. Something like Kari Wuhrer decided not to return and then come up with a creative way of writing her off in the season opener and possibly write Wade in to replace her because Sports Night was cancelled...

I appreciate your comments. And the similarity to the Sci-Fi Sliders page was purely intentional... after all, this is a world where Sci-Fi picked up Sliders. Thanks for your kind comments about the graphics too!I don't think you will be disappointed storywise. I have two of them written, but they will "air" later in the sixth season. Right now Earth 71999 is still waiting for the final four episodes of Season Five, just as we are. So naturally, Season Six will begin sometime after that. It will probably take some time to get the season premiere done, as there will no doubt be a lot to work with after "The Seer".
I have a lot planned for Earth 71999, and it may not be enough to fit into a 13 episode order. So we'll see... maybe Sci-Fi will be so impressed with the ratings that they will extend the season to a full 26 eps!
