I could remember reading this at www.sliders.net a while ago , before
I found this place anyway . In the articles section there is an interview
with Tracy Torme' where he mentions an idea he had regarding the Kromaggs
in season three . Here it is :
That said, Tormé already has a follow-up in mind, which he hopes
to do some time this season. "I have a very trippy, surrealistic
show in mind involving the Cromags. It wouldn't be us landing in the
middle of another invasion; it would start in a way that you wouldn't
know it was a Cromag show ".
You can find it :

It might be an idea for someone to ask him about it ( he says lazily
).
Also this sounds like the type of episode Sliders should have been
producing during season four . We had far too many Genisis-Common Ground-The
Dying Fields episodes where the sliders get caught , try to escape ,
get captured and slide out . Instead of taking a good plot and transplanting
the Kromaggs as villians they took the Kromaggs and built unimaginative
stories around them .
I know this information has been " out there " for a while
but I haven't seen it discussed here or on any other website . The interview
is from pre-season 3 and there is hardly anyone left who was around
since then so it's probably news to most of us .
On another note Torme' also said this :
[ Other shows he is working on ] include a series for HBO called Dark
City that Tormé likens to "film noir meets The Prisoner"
(it's no relation to the Alex Proyas movie, Dark City, now in production)
and The Others, which he simply describes as "out there."
The Others ? Though it never made it to this side of the Atlantic wasn't
that about ghosts or something . He must have dropped it for Doomsday
