TEASE 4: "Now you listen to me," yelled Art to buck, the owner of the football club, "I've been producing television sports for 20 yrs. and rule #1 is this; if you want to win you have to control the ball. In order to control the ball you have to have an offensive star who can put the points on the board. Sign a major quarterback & I'll give you the deal. Otherwise, forget it." As Buck got up to leave, Art yelled again, "Now remember, I don't care if you're talking basketball, soccer or polo, the team that's on offense has control of the ball!" "Well that's where you're wrong," replied Buck. What situation was Buck referring to? When the defense sacks the quarterback in the endzone, scoring a safety worth 2 points to the defense. =========================== TEASE 5: Which of these numbers is the odd-one-out? 43 26 50 37 17 82 82 is the odd one out. It is the only one where one of it's digits, the 8, has factors that are not prime, i.e. 4 X 2 = 8. ================ Tease 15 Assign every letter of the alphabet its numerical value: A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on, up to z=26. Can you think of a familiar 7 letter word whose letter values total only 21? HINT: It's edible. Omega has 49 out of 50. Missing #14. here are the correct answers: Tease #1 In the land of Liars and Truthtellers there were two families a little different from the general population. The Smith's, who told the truth only in the morning and lie in the afternoon, and the Jones' who speak the truth only in the afternoon and lie in the morning. You meet one person from each of these families on the street but you are not sure which is which. They make the following statements: A: It is afternoon B: My last name is Jones. Who is who, and is it morning or afternoon? SOLUTION TO TEASE: A is a Jones, B is a Smith and it is afternoon.
