Okay, now I could give you the lowdown on the actual numerical Goodness Ratings, but I have this thing about reading any e-mail that's older than two weeks. I HATE doing it. Yeah, I know, I could have done this a LONG time ago, but whattaya want from me? I mean, the only reason I'm doing it NOW is because I'm running out of ways to put off my poli sci assignment.

Here are the winners from the first round (and this ISN'T taking my own views into account).

· All the judges who gave a fuck agreed that SpaceTime pounded QandD like a First Wave Boarder once tried to pound an electrical outlet. What am I saying? ONCE? The First Wave Board tries every fuckin' day!
· Nobody cared a great deal either about the fight between sliderules and Slider_Quinn21, but all the judges agreed that Quinn's performance was slightly better.
· Most of the judges laughed when they saw the way Dove_Slider indirectly royally blew SL4ever away. Personally, I DID think SL4ever gave the better performance. All the other judges disagreed, though, but SL4ever wins by default because Jessie didn't like the idea of going on.
· Most of the judges were also impressed with RMScream's performance. I was too, so much so that I actually forgot WHO he was flaming, so while I'm sure the other person at least TRIED, RM wins by default!

Anyhow, I've had two reasons for my problems lately.

· My judging panel is getting very erratic. One judge bailed on me. Another renounced verbal violence. With my luck, the rest of them will have converted to Branch Davidianism by the end of the tourney. Their asses better be ready to be tear-gassed.
· I keep getting NAGGED about this, and S don't take NAGGING well, especially considering how much S gets from other sources.

Anyhow, what I was going to do was something involving the whole judging panel except me, but after a few really interesting backfires, I've come to a decision...

Blinker, DMD, guess what? You two are IN ToFGaL now! And R317, dellyone, and SweetOne are still entirely capable of joining you depending on my often-fickle whims, so watch out all!

You're not the only one, DMD -- I gave that round to SL4ever by a MILE. Dove_Slider's chaotic, self-pitying, everyone-in-sight-bashing "performance" was lamer than anything Kari Wuhrer's ever done... and she's done PECK!

I wanted to see the scores and the judges' comments. ;-) Now you made me dig up my e-mail to you. Okay I'm bored and I won't be getting five large heart shaped chocolates, an expensive candlelit dinner at an upscale French restaurant or three dozen red roses. <cue sad violin music> So you'll have to put up with my bizarre sense of humor. :D

Yeah, I thought Jess blew away SL4, but I gave him the round because she didn't want to go on.

Please ignore the rest of this post if you wish. I know many ignore my posts anyway. ;-) I do wonder how many did actually catch that little piece of a work in progress as well as four little stories I posted. I'll stop babbling for now.

I had two impressions from what I read. One of total amusement and awe and the second, the impression of my head on my desk after pounding against it numerous times, waiting for the torture to end. A week’s time is more than enough to prepare and I had expected more. I'm in a very generous mood and the scores reflect that. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but in this case, it lowers your score.

SL4ever, she rocked you with her post as did I and probably the other judges. Dove/Jessie that took guts to post what you did. Before I go on, here are the scores for both of you.

Now you're saying, why in the hell did she get such a high score from me? I'll tell you why. I tend to agree on some of her points. I entered TOP to prove to myself that I could flame creatively, which I did. I had the power to destroy and I used it well. What disturbed me was the fact that I liked it. I liked it so much that it almost consumed me. Several of my friends attempted numerous times to stop me, but I shot them down repeatedly. Finally one of them got through to me. I don't recall if I thanked them all so I'll take this opportunity to do that. Thanks guys!!! Now I channel those destructive urges to constructive means by working on a particular ongoing fanfic. I work on it whenever I can't control the urge to flame someone. I don't use gender specific pronouns nor do give proper names to the characters to specify a gender. This is extremely difficult to write with these limitations, but it gets out my frustrations. This doesn't mean that I'll just stand by when someone makes blanket assumptions or misconstrues my words or shoves words into my mouth. I'll post a correction first as a warning. If a reply is deserved, then I will do it.

So what does this have to do with this tournament? I think that flaming is fine as long as all parties know that it's a game and nothing is taken personally. I saw it as a creative challenge for myself. I won't deny that I like reading others try to take down others. But there is a point when all of it becomes utter nonsense.

I have to power to destroy and the power to create. I chose to create. I'll destroy only if pushed past the line and I see no other recourse. I will remain quiet until that point is crossed. I haven't lost the fire, but I don't want to be consumed by it.

Round II *better* make me laugh or else I will be whipping out the flamethrower and setting it to maximum. I gave enough hints the first time and I was f*cking ignored. I should have given what was truly deserved, but I was nice. Now, I'm not going to be as generous as I was for the first round. I don't laugh, you get a zero. You post something that was overkilled in TOP like the time schedule for the day, I whack off 5 points. NO EXCUSES because I put up those links more than 3 times in the past. TOP is even on EustiSlider's HoF.

One more thing, don't do anything that would annoy the judges. I've already said that the contestants can rip on me as long as it's not match time and that f*cking includes the judging period. So QandD, that score you got was after you annoyed the hell out of me by forcing me to answer not ONCE, BUT TWICE to your whining post about when the rulings were going to be posted, but I was nice and gave you that score. I should have knocked it down at least 5 points for judging for me and shoving your opinions down my throat. You were one step away from getting it from me. That lame excuse of letting you continue on and asking the judges to tell S to NOT let ST win because WE <Who's we? I'm assuming you meant the judges> feared that ST wouldn't show up, shoved me one millimeter from crossing that line.

I want a lot of things. Nowhere in this equation do I want to listen to your pedantic whining. That is why when Round Two comes around I will soundly defeat you. There will be nothing more entertaining for those 30 seconds than to know that all your talk was just that. Talk. Boring, derivative chatter.

Forgive me if I don't share the same level of enthusiasm as you. It's hard for a God to get worked up over the vainglorious postings of a peon.
