Bringing Arturo back was fine but now Quinn magically returns
BLEEECH
Sorry you just lost a reader after "my name is Quinn" i couldn't
stand any more.
i like Quinn (not JOC) and wouldn't mind him back but this out of nowhere,
no unmergeing needed is bullcrap

Maggie is dead . I wouldn't have taken that route . And the re-emergence
of Quinn was a little abrupt . Otherwise it was good .
Question for the writing staff . Will you be making the stories longer
because I'd have my doubts about this format sustaining a satire or
such . I'll be looking forward to the next installments .stax

I'm
not really sure what to make of it.

From: Nobuyuki
It's an OK continuation so far. The plot holes are getting filled
in, and that's great. I'd just like to add my two cents, if I may.
Chaser and the rest of you are doing a great job, and the first to
episodes of the virtual season 6 were great. I have no idea what your
planning, but it all seems very cool. I will have to give it another
episode or two before I'm totally sold on your project, but if it continues
the way it seems to be headed, it looks like it will be great.
P.S. As long as your cleaning up the plot holes in the show, if you
do any Kromagg episodes, would it be possible to include both styles
of Kromaggs (i.e. the Invasion Kromaggs and the Season 4-5 Kromaggs)
and provide some sort of backing as to why there are two varieties?
It's your series, so you don't have to if you don't want to, but I
thought it might be nice to get that out of the way.
Keep up the good work and try not to go "Peck" on us.

Hunter=Exec?
Date: 2/12/2000
From: QBall79
Sorry if that insults you, but your review reminds me of Exec's review
of New Gods For Old, where he thought people were healed my magic water.
Quinn did not magically reappear. He was brought out by the events
that had occurred; seeing his mom again after all this time, and the
death of Maggie. Quinn was still inside Mallory; he was just suppressed
while Mallory maintained dominance. Why is it so hard to believe that
events such as those that occurred in "Resoulotion Part 2" would
have brought Quinn back?
No unmerging needed? Where is that written? You forget that Mallory
is still inside that body. Separation is still an issue, and in my
opinion is mandatory (if it is even possible at this point). You don't
sem to be considering any of this.
This isn't a flame; it's just the reiteration of a few things you
seem to have overlooked.
Q-Ball79
P.S. Don't take anything I said above as possible hidden spoilers
for v6. I have no idea what is planned as far as the Quinn/Mallory
issue.

Little
more constructive criticism (SPL)
Date: 2/12/2000
From: Brand_S
I wouldn't have killed anybody off at this stage. It seems like Maggie's
death is just making Wade's inevitable return more convenient. That
way, Quinn and Wade can fall in love immediately, with no love triangle-ish
tension.
Furthermore, I think this two-parter would have functioned better
as a one-parter.
Anyhow, don't get me wrong. I'm not currently writing any Virtual
Season 6, so I ain't complainin' too much. Besides, you did a good
job all-around. You didn't take the roads I would've taken, but the
execution was very nice.
In fact, Chaser9, I'd like to work for you as a web design guy, a
writer, or even just a gopher, if you'd have me. I'd like to do remakes
of the original Revelations and Heat of the Moment, if those things
aren't taken. I hope you respond to this pseudo-application, whether
your message is anything from "Yes, we will, S, because you're
so handsome, smart, and cool, and you never mix up 'your' and 'you're.'" to "No,
S! You go to hell! You go to hell and you die!" Please reply here
or e-mail me at the above address.

Quinn is back <however long,we don't know yet, but I'll take it
for the moment> and Maggie is gone. Can't say I'm sorry about that!
It was a shock though.
This is very interesting and I look foward to the rest of the season.
Thanks for carrying on for us.

Gotta
Love It

From: ayrton2
I thought the second episode was absolutely wonderful.
It didn't grab me quite like the first episode (probably
just because I was so sad to see the real season end that it was extremely
nice to read what happened). However,
this awesome episode did make me VERY EAGER to read next week's episode.
AWESOME WORK!
I was very dissapointed to see Maggie die. It bothers me when some
people fuss over who is being killed or re-appearing. In life you can't
always control who lives and dies. A good show is one that sees you
lose even the character you admire or enjoy the most (even though it
can be absolutely horrible to you). I hated seeing the Professor die
back on the tv series, but hey if this was a real thing you can't expect
all of them to live forever
having visited so many crazy worlds and got into so many situations.
Great job with the virtual season! I'm a dedicated reader.
How many episodes will you be doing?

well

From: HunterD_Raven
first off to paraphrase Chris jericho "Never EEEEEEEEEEEVER,
compare me to Exec"
Sorry but Quinn coming out due to "seeing his mom, and magige
dieing" is just silly to me, why didn't he come out any of the
times maggie was near death in Season 5? Why didn't he come out when
Wade died (especially since he downright literally caused her death)
why didn't he come out when Remmy was thought dead?
Sorry it jsut seems like "Hey let's get the orig gang back together
as fast as we can"
if it was spaced out more with some hinting and such i might like it
but 1 week Arturo, next week Quinn.
What's Ep 3 we find Wade pefectly fine then dump Diana off?
Sorry it seems like some stupid JOCnatics idea of season 6.
If they had spaced it out more i may like it, put a few eps between,
but as it is it literally sickened me.

ok
i was beign a tad too harsh
Date: 2/13/2000
From: HunterD_Raven
but i still don't plan on reading anymore. it just seems like "hey
let's get the old gang back together in 4 eps or less" right now
Had it been done with 3 or so eps between Arts return and Quinns return.
Or had there been some foreshadowing (headaches mentioned in the smae
ep do NOT count as foreshadowing) I mean....god i hate to say this....but
it sounds like what peckinpah would come up with.
About the only things i could think of worse was the :it was all a
dream" BS everyone was spewing for a while.
It's too much new stuff coming out of nowhere for me to like.
Sorry

Only part i hated was the fact Rembrandt seemed not to care all that
much for Maggie. Other then that, let me just say Chaser9 is a genius!!!

I
agree with Hunter. (Splrs)
Date: 2/13/2000
From: JorgeCis
You're going way too fast to begin with. Already you've wrapped up
three storylines (Arturo, Earth Prime, and what happened after "The
Seer"). I don't know, but that's too much to do in two episodes.
I'm sorry, but I'm vehemently against the death of Maggie. In all
honesty, I think it served absolutely no purpose aside from getting
rid of the character. She died the same way Arturo died...talk about
irony. And how did her death contribute to the plot? The sequence afterwards
could have been done easily without it.
Now that we've established that "Genesis" EP is not the
real EP, where does that leave Mrs. Mallory?
All in all, I think that it was a good episode, but there were some
things I felt were done either too quickly or unnecessarily.

Who'll
take these odds:

From: FogBoy
Well, let's see. Quinn and the Professor are back. Diana and Remmy
are still around, though. But still.... hmmm.... do I notice a trend
here?
I've got 10 to 1 odds that Wade will make a return somehow, and Diana
will leave the picture. Who's with me on this one? :) I've got a good
feeling about this.
It may not be the next episode of V6, but I wager it'll be within
the next... uuummm... I'm gonna guess three episodes. Yeah, that's
sounds good. I guess now I can only wait and see.

Thoughts
and complaints...
Date: 2/13/2000
From: jerry_o_who
I like the idea of reducing the cast back to the original 4. Essentially
this cast is the cast from S1-S2, lets face it Diana is nothing more
then a scientific variation of Wade. Notice their names Wade Wellls/Diana
Davis all are spelled w/ the same letters WW/DD. Anyway, I thought
this ep moved way to fast. Come on how convienient that as soon as
they gain the Proff. they lose Maggie. The whole death of Maggie just
seemed very cold and useless. Then they bury her? What is this medival
times? Mallory digs a ditch and dumps her body in there. Look I'm not
a big Maggie fan either but she deserved a much better send off than
this. So within two eps. you managed to rid us of the whole Kromagg
Earthprime theory,revive the Proff.,kill off Maggie,and convienently
bring back Quinn without any scientific explanation. Also Rembrandt
would still save that Kromagg Earth even if it wasn't his own. Now
that Rembrandt finds thats not his earth hes not even gonna attempt
to give them the virus and hes just gonna let those people die. This
ep, was intended to cover up all the holes left by the writers and
while you're covering them up you're creating a whole bunch of new
plot wholes.

Plothole?

From: Crambam
If Quinn is not from the Earth we previously thought was Earth Prime,
and is not Colin's brother (something I think is better), then what
about that chip that Quinn was able to use to figure out where Colin
was? Wasn't it true that only Quinn from that world could use it?
