How much longer will the BFA radicals force people to live under an oppressive communistic system, where men are beaten mercilessly with towels and forced to wear berets over more than one part of their body? They ARE forced, you know. It may appear as if they have a choice, but according to one of our sources, those taken captive are brainwashed into believing they can not live without berets, and that berets are the only item of clothing they need. They have to be stopped...and I have to stop them.

After reading Slider_Sarah's admittedly very clever BFA Song, I started trying to think up a retaliatory ABL song that touched on the themes of war, men, patriotism... and berets. To my surprise I realized there actually was one: "The Ballad of the Green Berets". A little re-jigging and we have:

Watching Sliders
on Sci-Fi;
Or maybe Space,
Perhaps on Sky;
We're men who mean,
Just what we say:
We'll rid this board,
Of all berets.

Chorus:

We are the side,
That's tastefully dressed;

BritSlider's best;
We'll hunt them down,
Those B.F.A.'s;

All their berets.

Five captured men,
In a B.F.A. base;

P.S. Doesn't anyone find it a little odd that Slider_Sarah wears a peace symbol while cheerfully waging a war?

PRESS RELEASE FROM ABL HEADQUARTERS........

Yesterday, an individual known as HurriKain tried to infiltrate the HQ of the Anti-Beret League. However, due to our superior security arrangements we were able to capture him before he could do any real harm to our cause.
If you ever want to see this traitor alive again, then you will comply with our ransom demands:
1) You will cease all mention of Berets on this bboard.
2) Spaz119 will be limited to only three towel references per day.
3) Your Dictator-for-life 1013shan will be brought to ABL Headquarters were she will be forced to work as my slave for the period of a year and a day.
I will allow HurriKain to send out a final message on this board, so that he can say goodbye to his loved ones.
I give you 24 hours to decide, otherwise the traitor hangs!
