Can the timer kill?

What would happen if that beem of light that comes out to open
the vortex, were to hit a person????

Fish Bone

my theory

they might die, but then i think about it and they may not. Remember the pilot, the wormhole went through his house causeing no major damage. Admitedly no one was home, but since the house didn't cave in it may have no illeffects.
However at the same time it could do like Blink from the comics.
She is a teleporter and got a sentinal to follow her through the teleportational device (vortex?) and closed it with it halfway through, destroying both parts.
My guess. if they move,no ill effects. If they are in shock and dont and the vortex closes. then in the words of CLOWN from Spawn they are D-E-D DEAD!

Another theory...

In "Invasion" Quinn uses the beam to knock down a Kromagg vessel, since they both operate on the same frequency. It is possible that the beam may have no effect on materials without electronics in them (i.e. people). Perhaps the beam might even go right through them. It might make for an interesting thing to put in an episode, though!

Blink! ROTFL!

Seems I have something in common with Quinn... a Sliding female double.

I checked out the "Blink" home page, learning that (sure enough!) one of her compatriots was named "Logan."

Incidentally, the links were set up in my favourite colours.

Spooky, no?

What would happen if they tried going through the back of the vortex ? (clear side)

I think . . .

If you entered the clear side, I think you'll end up on the other side of the vortex, and in the same world. As for if it hit a person, they may be shredded between worlds (same effect as an Eldar D-Cannon in Warhammer 40,000). But I don't know for sure. Of course, this is quantum physics, so who would know for sure.
