I need help from the fans!

I am working on a Sliders computer game. The graphics will be like that of nintendo 8 bit. (SORRY!) To get to the point, I need to know what you people want to see in this game. Keep in mind this game is based on season 1-2. That
means you can only play as Quinn, Rembrandt, Wade, Arturo.

1. What type of cloths should they be wearing? (i.e. Quinn has a green t-shirt) I need help also on how Arturo should look like. Short hair with a small red bow tie? Or long hair, and brown coat?

2. What kind of kromaggs? Season 2? Season 4-5?

3. Timer?

4. How many players? Who should you play as?

5. Should i make a demo? (If yes, i can have it out by this Saturday)

6. What kind of bosses? (Logan is already in the game)

I think that is a great idea! I feel that you should have Arturo as short hair with a bow tie. I think the Kromaggs should be from season 2. You should definetly do a demo and I think it should be four players. I also think that you should have Rickman and maybe even Geiger but I guess that would mean you would have to have Maggie,Colin, Mallory and Diana in the game in someway shape or form. I do think it is an excellent idea and I hope it works out!

1. Quinn- you already said what he will wear.
Arturo- I think he should wear what he was earing in Post Traumatic Slide Syndrome.
Wade- Maby how she looked in Luck of the Draw? I don't know what Wade should wear.
Remmy- I think what Remmy should be wearing is what I think he wear in Invasion and/or Post Truamatic Slide Syndrome. I think he should wear that black jacket. I cn't remember if it was Invasion, PTSS, or both.

3. I like the original timer the most.

4. I think it would be cool if there were 4 players and you could choose between all four Sliders. If you could only choose one sliders it should probably be Quinn.

5. I guess, if you want to.

you should eus e the first timer. I also think you should make them dressed in their clothes from the pilot. I think you should make That vampir guy from that rock and roll band a boss. And definitely make a demo

Have you got ahold of Universal Legal yet? They have been giving me and my company the slight run around but it is just the way things are done. Runesmiths Design Group is picking up speed on our project and plan to see a completion around Q4 2000, just in time for stocking stuffers. :) I see what some of the fans have said on the post and it makes me glad to see our designs have accomodated for much of this.

*Quinn*-A green T-Shirt is good. Just as long as you don't give him brown pants. We don't want a Shaggy want to be. People might start wanting to expect Scooby-Doo to come on the scene. *grin* Sorry I'm in a strange mood today. I'd give Quinn blue jeans and brown shoes like he wore in season 1 & 2. Maybe even a brown jacket if that's possible. It depends on the amount of detail you want to give him.

2. What kind of kromaggs? Season 2? Season 4-5?

Ohhhh, I don't know. Both were ugly. Surprise us. BTW, I saw this one guy in this interview that was completely bald and I could have sworn if they gave him pointed teeth, he'd be a Kromagg. What a face. A face only a mother could love. AAAAHHHHH!!! Maybe we've already been invaded! *grin* Like I said, I'm in a strange mood.

3. Timer?

Definitely the first timer because that is the one that was used in seasons 1 and 2. AND it was Quinn's creation.

4. How many players? Who should you play as?

2 or 3 players and we should have a choice as to who we want to be (Quinn, Wade, Arturo, or Remmy). We could make the decision at the before starting the game.

5. Should i make a demo? (If yes, i can have it out by this Saturday)

Sure! Then let us know where we can access it. This will give us a better idea as to what it's going to look like.

6. What kind of bosses? (Logan is already in the game)

Bosses? or bad guys? I like the idea of Logan being in the game. I don't like Rickman personally but he was part of the show so I guess he should be added too. You could also create new bad guys too so we won't know what to expect.

7. What else would you like to see?

Is there a way of rotating what world we would end up on each time so we don't know what to expect. With some games, if you play it over and over again, it gets kind of boring because you keep going to same place over and over and over and over...again. Ugh! You can lose interest very quick.

If you would like to. That would be cool! What exactly do you have in mind? I think I might remember you mentioning a QL game before; but so many people have spoken about creating games, I'm not sure whose said what anymore.

You could set it up similar to the Sliders game except you would, of course, have less players and we would be leaping through time instead of sliding between dimensions. You could have Sam and Alia as a choice of Leapers. Sam, of course, would be player one and Alia player two. Al's character could be a Leaper too. You could work out something where Al somehow ends up leaping around; but if you want to stick to the original show format, I'd leave Al as a hologram coming to inform the Leapers what Ziggy says their mission is and teasing Sam in his embarrassing perdicaments. *grin*

Al, of course, should have very colorful attire and a fedora. *grin*

I got so caught up in Scooby-Doo and Shaggy too that I forgot to mention what everyone else should be wearing. You'd think I'd want them wearing nothing. *grin*

Okay, they aren't on nudist world so we need to give Arturo, Wade, and Remmy some clothes. *grin*

Arturo: A bowtie is nice (red perhaps as you said) and a gray or tan suit with a sweater vest underneath. If you want to put a coat on him, a tan or dark gray trenchcoat. He's gotta look like the classy Professor we all know. :)

Remmy: I always liked the black or dark brown leather coats he always worn. They always looked cool on him. Black or dark gray dress pants and black dress shoes. We should make him look sharp too. :)

Wade: It has to be a classic Wade outfit. Jeans and a V-neck shirt. V-necks look the best on me as well. Don't make the V-neck too low though...eh hem...I know you guys like to do stuff like that. *grin* Behave yourself. Stick to something tasteful like Wade wore in seasons 1 or 2. If you can, see if you can give her a necklace that looks like the WADE necklace she wore in the series.

Well, these are just my opinions. Hope my jokes have been taken well. Like I said, I'm in a strange mood today and mean no offense by anything I've said. Just harrassing you a little. *grin*

What platform are you useing to program the game?
-Windows, Mac, etc...

What language are you using to program it?

Also anything else you could say about how you are making it -- I'm also interested in game programming.
All I know about is 3D Programming and OpenGL, so learning about how to program 2D 8-bit nintendo graphics would be cool.
A demo would be also be cool.

4. how many players simultaneously? 2 is fine, 1 is just as good. You can be either Quinn, Mallory, Colin, Wade, Maggie, Arturo, Remmy, Diana, Bennish. Have to have 4 Slider's going around with each other.
