2) Name a good thing about the ep, and a bad thing.

BLINKER: Good Thing - The climactic performance of "Tears In My Fro" is THE APEX of CRYIN' MAN GOLD. Bad Thing - Why the 7:-# is one of Remmy's songs called "Love Explosion," and another "Explosion of Love"?!? I mean, I know Season One has a thing for repetition, but *this*???
SYNTHIA: Uhhhh, as before: not only was that amusing in the extreme, but it was most probably quite deliberate.
BLINKER: 7>:-#. This thing harder to nitpick than '70s Remmy's hair!
SYNTHIA: Good Thing - Remmy's apparently as good at "Go Fish" as he is at poker, which I guess is what Sliders fans have to take for continuity. Bad Thing - The Cryin' Man looks like his double about as much as "Madigan's Men" looks like a promising new sitcom! Smeg, I bet the Seer could've pulled a better TV premise out of his ass!! Even BEFORE the magical diarrhea attack that gave him his supernatural worldwide-hit pitching abilities!!!!

Good thing: Clevant's brother, Clinton, appears in this ep, giving us two, two, two Remmys for the price of one.Bad thing: Clinton isn't really an exact match for Clevant. No one would really mistake the two in person. See, this one is Remmy. No, wait it's that one. No, um. OK, it's the fat white guy!

Good thing: An extended concert by Remmy's 1 and 2!! Two Remmys for the price of one! How can you top that?? How? HOW?? YOU CAN'T!!!! It's like......Watching Micheal Jordan go one on one with himself! It's crazy!Bad thing: Stupid Remmy #2 and his lack of ethics!! Shovin' Remmy #1 off the stage was just plain mean in my book!!! And Remmy #1 was a better singer anyway! That little bit of added girth that Remmy #2 lacked gave Remmy #1 that radical motown gutteral tone.

-: The crowd's rather callous treatment of the fat white mustachioed Remmy impersonator upon whom alt-Rembrandt in my Season 6 was based. I hate watching people with enough guts to voluntarily make complete asses of themselves wind up getting booed by crowds.

Good Thing - The "Revenge of the Side Kicks" motif in the episode. With "Skipper's Island" as seen on screen, and "I Love Ethel" that was scripted but did not appear. Apparently that's why Rembrandt was popular on that earth...all the unappreciated second fiddles were.Bad Thing - The screw up of a line. The name of the song was supposed to be "Soul Explosion" (the title of the song appears above Rembrandt's head in the photograph at the beginning of "Summer of Love").

...for the last good thing, bad thing I did a song...this ep is about songs (and Remmy singing them)...and the ep I did a song for last time was about an asteroid about to hit Earth...so I think I'll do this one in the style of a haiku! It just makes so much sense!Good things are quite rare

Good Thing: Two times the Remy for the first official time on a Sliders episode=Good episode.Bad Thing: Well, since I missed The King Is Back yet AGAIN(I seem to miss the episode every go around of re-runs), I'll say the Bad Thing was.....the Yankees lost last night when I was at the game, watching from the last row of the stadium(might I say, that is way up there)!

Are you sure that wasn't a different name for the same song on an alternate universe? You should note Remmy's slight head movement after Captain Jack mentions Love Explosion which would suggest that he thought there was something wrong with the song title.Good Thing: Awesome duet performance from Cleavant and Clinton. A damned shame we didn't get to see more concert performances in future episdoes. IMO, Cleavant has the better voice. =)
Bad Thing: As someone else already mentioned -- Arturo's briefs. Talk about scary. =\

Let's see here...Good Thing: The whole sequence with Maurice (that's his name right? Can't think straight tonight). I personally love the scenes with pyscopaths. ~;O)
Bad Thing: That hankercheif used to gag Remmy. *EVERY* time I see that I subconsciously think that he's been cut with the razor already and that the pink is his torn flesh.
