I gotta say, this guy HAS to be in love with The Executive, I really see no other explanation for this crap. It's a post that you look at it and your mouth drops in disbelief!! I am SORRY but not even Harlock has ever reached these lengths..well, he did with the fan convocation, and formatting has something to do with it do, but still...

The one thing that gets me too is Temporal Flux's dislike for Exec since I've seen them say similar things before.

I guess. Because if you look at the replies to that list you will that he posted AN ADDENDUM! He thought it needed MORE! If he ever gets his brain repaired he might end up a Microsoft Software Engineer.
At the risk of ending up doing the same as them, the one thing that impressed (in a negative way) me was how often they talk about the Executive. They talk about him even in posts that have nothing to do with him. And it's nothing really good.
I don't miss the Sliders b-board much, hell, I don't miss alt.tv.sliders almost...but there doesn't seem to exist a place where the mature, adult (or mature young) Sliders fans can intelligently converse on the topic of that show. I think I would create such a b-board and password protect it, but now that I like First Wave a lot more than the current season of Sliders I just see no point.

The_Cynic is the biggest loser that ever lived, and as I pointed out in an earlier post on this board (where SonGoku2000 got that link from -- provided by Third_of_Five), Cynic, Temporal Flux, and a few others that they have recruited into their ranks have made up a long series of lies and misrepresentations against me. Why? Because most of them are are the kind of people who will flame you for disagreeing with their opinions on a television show, and they take opposing viewpoints VERY personally. Other users had accused Temporal Flux of illegally selling SLIDERS press kits and off-the-air videos, and he fought them as much tooth and nail as he attacked me. I know as a fact that he ripped off portions of The Expert's SLIDERS fan webpage to incorpate into his own -- without Expert's permission! The only difference is that I've been one of the few people who had the courage to call him on his lies, which is why my fued with him went on for so long. In the past, his ratings info has frequently been faulty and incorrect. At least now that he gets it from this site's Scifiwire he is on the right track...almost. I could go own a great deal about Flux -- a man who is almost 50 years old, and whose life mostly revolves around SLIDERS!
I don't know why I wasted so much time fighting back: It was just as much my need to present the truth to set the record straight as well as them "lighting" my short fuse!
As for The_Cynic (previously known as "The Critic", "Daniel2", "Vertigo", and a number of other aliases) he was obsessed with me for a while and still causes a problem now and then just for the hell of it. It's got him the attention he needed so badly, because for a long time he didn't have anything to say about SLIDERS itself. Fortunately, he has recently made up for it by posting a variety of extremely long SLIDERS-related posts -- finally! I can only wonder if that little boy's mother wrote those reviews using his password....
There are some other morons I could talk about, but this post is too long enough as it is. OK, now that I've gotten that off my chest can we drop this unpleasantness and get back to FIRST WAVE? It's not like I post here every day, you know!

ANYWAYS, I agree with Robzilla, that guy has to be in love with Exec or worse! I'm glad that First Wave caters to a more literate crowd....Sliders was fun, but in my particular case, I stopped following it when Arturo died, to me he was too important to the overall feeling of family in the show.
What I don't like is when people accuse FW of being about soft core porn. To me that just means they have either paid no attention to FW or paid too much attention to the skin and not enough on anything else..

But what you people so singular fail to grasp is that Executive isn't the alleged nice guy you think he is (at least on the sliders boards he isn't). He has more enemies than anyone else there and frequently causes trouble. I'm not going into all the details of that, there are plenty of examples around. Unlike many here, I've known Ex from when he first started posting on the MCA board. Most here have known him for far less time. As for the length of my post, it is hardly my fault he gives me so much material to work with. :)
I have been civil to Exec as of late, and still he attacks me. He always does this and will never drop it. Just do one thing when it comes to Executive's "innocence" and his so-called defenses will crumble - ask him to BACK UP what he says. He rarely, if ever, does. Then he wonders why nobody respects him. Just look at this attack he launched against me on a board I don't use! That should set off some warning bells in some peoples' heads.
For example, where have I "made up a long series of lies and misrepresentations against [Executive]."
Where have I taken an opposing view of the show personally?
Where is the proof that I posted as Daniel_2 and Vertigo? Why has EXECUTIVE not addressed the evidence that implicates him as taking the handle of Daniel_2 to attack TF by posing as me?
I have also posted a number of on topic sliders posts and still Executive will not acknowledge it (in addition to the reviews I've been doing). This is all documented on the sliders page. If you people are going to listen to Executive, at least have the brains to question him and not take what he (or even I) say as truth until you have examined the evidence. I am quite reasonable and have never attacked someone for defending Executive. The reason I attack Ex is that he likes to cause trouble, such as with this lengthy attack of myself on a board I do not even post to. Wouldn't YOU get a little fed up with that sort of behaviour if it went on long enough. That was why I made the post. He deserved what he got, IMO, and I let him off easy. Unlike Exec, I can actually back up my assertions.
And no, I'm not in love with Exec. I hate him. I wouldn't make
an ANTI-Executive post if I loved him, now would I? Now kindly drop this attack so this board can get back to FIRST WAVE (no I don't like this show, but at least I don't come here to trash it because I don't take other peoples' opinions of tv shows personally).

Exec is an idiot paradox wrapped in a very large, Wonder Woman Underoo wearing, 31 year old body. While he may be useful here, he can't even serve as a doorstop for the Sliders board. The only reason I brought up Cynic and TF, was in RESPONSE to the link the SonGokou2000 listed and it was to set the record straight with my side (the truth). Clearly I haven't made trouble on the SLIDERS board as Cynic so desperately wants people to believe -- but there have been occasions in which I've reacted to it and I'm not proud of having a short fuse. As long as nobody else brings up that link again, and Cynic (and on the SLIDERS board), Temporal Flux stop making trouble, I promise I will not bring either of their names again on either board. So if somebody asks about the TF & Cynic vs. The Executive I will instead post a link answering their question.
I don't need to prove anything, and at this point I hardly care anymore. Cynic has proven nothing that he has said about me, other than his obsessed hatred. I will say in his defense that he has written several "reviews" on the SLIDERS board, but that doesn't cover for the damage he has done in the past.
My only real interest here is in typing about First Wave -- particularly after a new episode has just aired! There are people on the SLIDERS board who know me better and that I'm really a decent guy, and all of the regulars here are aware of that!
Darkslider, meanwhile, continues to demonstrate what an idiot he is with all of his posts, the vast majority of which are juevenile, non-SLIDERS oriented anti-Executive rants (as he just demonstrated in his previous reply). So in spite of what you may have read in a later topic on this board, SonGokou2000 was completely justifeid in defending me from Darkslider's previous attack in which * only * SonGokou's comments were provided. It wasn't necessary, but I am grateful to him for doing so! If Darkslider has ever even discussed SLIDERS at all, I've never seen it on The Dominion bulletin boards...
