Epilogue Five: WldKlly
Yeontoo looked around her desk for the remote controls for the VCR and TV. She found them in her top desk drawer. She muted the volume and fast forwarded the tape to October 3 and watched a woman lost in the woods during the night. Minutes later there was a bright red light. A woman was walking out of the woods about an hour later according to the tape. “Mmmm… this spaghetti is so good,” she remarked as she placed the previous folder on top of the finished stack. The maid started singing as Yeontoo turned off the VCR and switched it to her favorite TV program as of late. “When I'm stuck with a day Ow That's gray, Ow And lonely, Ow I just stick out my chin Ow And Grin, And Say, Oh” Yeontoo saw that there was nothing interesting happening yet so she opened another file. Date and order voted off: 10-11-2000, 4th of 10 auditioners ======= September 14, 2000 They all went running to the shore where they were met upon by Klly's new prize: A 10 foot fanged trout. "Oh my gosh.." S8 whispered. "So um.. what are we going to do?" Klly asked as the fish roared. It was angry and it watched her carefully. Klly began to pace, as she did the fish followed her, swimming back and forth. "It doesn't want to lose you," SE said. "I know! And until we do something about it, we can't go in the water again! Well, at least I can't. You could try it but I would advise against it." Klly added. "All I can think of is to hurl rocks at it. I would say we could use one of your pocket knives, but they are too valuable. Anyone got any suggestions?" ======= September 19, 2000 Klly walked along the shore with her spear in her right hand. DMD caught up to her. "You know, I never used to like fishing," She said to him, "I wasn't any good at it. But as they say, practice does make perfect!" Just then she saw a fin in the water and ran out to meet it. It swam out to about 4 feet deep. She bonked it on the head and she heard a growl from below her. "Come and get me you mean ol' fish!" She yelled at it. It swam after her all the way to 3 feet where DMD was waiting with his spear. With one swift motion, dinner was going to be served tonight. "It's not as big as the first one but oh well.. " She said as she grabbed the turkey-sized fish. "I'm sick of fish," DMD remarked as he watched Klly dragging the fish to shore. "Do what I do, pretend it's chicken. Mmmm... Kentucky FRIED Chicken!" Klly's eyes glazed over as her thoughts turned mouth-watering memories. ======= October 11, 2000 Yeontoo approached the totem with the day's tally on the Alpha Vote. Tacking it securely, she looked around... seeing the boat approach. *Oh dear! Late again! Shouldn't have tried waiting on that other vote." The Alphas rushed to the totem pole to see who was voted off. Klly looked at her former teammates and asked, “You will take care of Patty, Sue, Sammy and Mr. Mondo, my pet logs right?” “Yes, we will,” answered SE, DMD and S8 together. “Well hope you all have fun at Camp Arachnid. Go Alpha!” cheered Klly. As they made their way to the beach, they talked about the bizarre happenings at their camp like the monkeys and the spiders overrunning their camp. They watched Klly wave goodbye from the boat before walking back to their camp. About half an hour later, Klly arrived in the cozy observation lounge and sat on the comfy warm couch, joining the observers. She wore a Team Alpha sweater and had her Team Alpha flag and cap. She waved it about. "Gooooo ALPHA!!" she turned to one of the waiters, "Hey.. can I get a can of peaches?" "Of course miss!" and he scurried off to find the peaches. "In the immortal words of Annie: I think I'm gonna like it here!" ======= Yeontoo made a few comments before placing her file with the ones that were finished. She was almost finished with her lunch. She liked this new maid since she was entertaining. According to her application she could sing, dance and act.
