Hate people who hate season 5???

Well as you all know i was once a season 5 hater. I think the s5
haters have every right to post here as the fans. Why? Because
they were once fans, they just don't like the new season. THAT IS
ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of us hate season 3! Does that mean we are not fans of the show? HELL NO!!!! It is the Sliders haters we need to keep off the board, Thats all.

heard the truth on why Jerry left, they heard the story from another

I was also one of the season 5 haters until I gave it a chance, While it is not my favorite season it is Sliders and I will watch it as I have the past 4 seasons. I do miss JOC but I am not a Jerry Lover. I don't care for the new Mallory but I can watch him and even at times enjoy him on the show, I got used to JOC after all I watched him for 4 seasons.
No matter my opion I should be able to come to this board and express it and I welcome basher or fan to the board, everyone is entittled to an opion. The bashers will not stay around long if they get no attention, thats what they are looking for. I simply don't give them the satisfaction, unless they have something constructive to add......

I've always said I can watch SLIDERS with or without Jerry being in it, but if we're talking numbers (from the first 10 of the 18 episodes that have aired on Sci-Fi) I have enjoyed 30% (or three) of the episodes this season!

If I were to guess how many season 5 haters REALLY were "Jerry lovers" and/or couldn't watch the show because he was gone, I would put that at somewhere between 55% and 60%.

I am NOT misinformed, and I have watched all of the episodes up to and including "Easy Slider". I only state my opinions on certain points in episodes that I feel need to be addressed, and if you don't agree with them that's your problem!

For once I would like to see a response from Temporal Flux to me that isn't based in one-sided, anti-Exec terms.

Mr. Temporal Flux, I must say I'm surprised at you. The Executive bashing on this b-board is something I can expect of the juveniles and punks here, but you? What have you to gain with joining in to gang up on this man? You are an adult, and "hanging out" with these kids doesn't take away your responsibilities as such. I understand that the net gives you the impression that RL human social niceties are unnecessary, but is that truly what you wish to become?
Anyway, far from me pass judgement on people, but I do think you should consider that you are prolonging an unhealthy trend. Jericho and others look up to you for an example and you are not helping them. The losers on this board who gang up on Exec are pitiful slobs who do so for no other reason than they are bored, or they have an angst within that seeks expression. If that is the type of person you are, you will get no real respect from anyone, not even them.
Now I don't often respond to flames, but this one I found interesting. Jericho, who is clearly a misguided soul, has complained about what Exec had to say elsewhere. I find this highly amusing. He not only admits that some other pathetic slob named Blinker, who I hope will read this lest I be accused of speaking behind his back, came to snitch to him about comments Exec had all the right in the world to make, but he also accuses Exec of speaking behind his back. Jericho, who tries hard to be one of the biggest losers here but even so loses, is not always going to be there when people speak of him. Although I wonder why anyone would give him a minute of their time unless in a situation like this.
Anyway, just saying I am constantly amused by the idiocy of your followers. However, I am in a special position in that I cannot be hurt by flames. Others do not always share that ability. I need to step off my high horse and explain to you that you are unnecessarily making it difficult for a fellow fan to enjoy his right to participate on this board. That is all this is about.

His points are informed based on his beliefs, but they are not factual. Despite this, I believe he is right on the money with his hunch. I myself can get along without Jerry, but most of the plots have sucked and Mallory (Godzilla) sucks bad. I only have enjoyed about 3 episodes. Do me a favor Temporalflux and Jeritol, rewatch the old sliders and then pop in a tape of the new sliders. You might agree that the plots were better in the old episodes. Not all, but most.
