Oh yeah, the episode. The original design for the human killing machine was a See 'n Say. Other species that could be eradicated specifically included moo cows, horsies, and piggy-wiggies.

The original script called for Kromanus to try even harder to woo Maggie over dinner. When making himself appear human didn't work, he was to make himself appear like Maggie herself, having correctly diagnosed her own self obsession. This last trick would have worked for Kromanus and provided for one of the most bizzare sex scenes filmed this side of "The Golden Girls: Uncensored Outtakes to Torid for Television". Ultimately, the idea was shelved when producers couldn't find a body double that was up to Kari's standards. Quoth the actress, "the producers should have known that I wouldn't do the tongue tango with any chick that wasn't at least as hot as *me*, and let's face it, there just *aren't* any."

There was a segment cut from the script, relating how the Kromaggs have a deep appreciation of the ecosystem, so natuarally the Common Ground device had safeguards against killing non-sentient life.
